Bambi RP (Private)

Garo wasn't going excited whenever somebody asked of his father, but he figured that if he ever talked to anyone about it, it would probably be someone he was close to like Gurri. "I don't really blame him..." he started, indirectly answering her question, "My mom told me that his dad abused him as a fawn, so..." he then decided to stop thinking about it, "At least he moved on now, right?"

Leah really didn't know what to say in response to that. Ronno had been more than tough towards him as a fawn, and he hurt Gurri more than once. But she never asked Garo whether he hated his father for it or not. "I don't know what to say... I never asked him such a question." she admitted, dropping the cheerful tone.

Long Ears took a few steps away from his mate, giving her the space she obviously wanted. When she was gone, Long Ears noticed that his friend was already up. "You were right. There is something troubling her." he then felt quilty about not noticing it so far, "I should probably try to figure out what, but I'll wait for her to calm down a bit. Geez, how could I have been so stupid?"

Gurri smiled and said, "Right Garo." She then tried to think long and hard of how to phrase the next question. "And uh...what about you? Do you think you uh...could be a good father?"

Ronno sighed and said, "What can I say. I am exactly like my father who I hate and despise." He suddenly wanted to drop everything he said and looked to her, "What do you want to do?" He got up and said to Leah, "Well I better go find Garo." For some reason he wanted to talk to him yet again. He, for some reason wanted his son to give up his hatred for him.

Bambi the skunk said, "Don't worry about it Long Ears. Gosh you already have enough guilt." He then looked towards his mate and said, "I don't think she would want you asking that question Long Ears but go ahead if you want. I mean I think she would get mad that you were insinuating something is wrong with her but go ahead." He then said to his friend, "How is your father?"

Garo was glad that Gurri agreed to drop the subject. But again felt himself go nervous when she asked the same question about him. His father's past behaviour sure did it's job in causing Garo to question his abilities of being a father himself. "I don't know..." he said, sounding confused, "What if I wont be a good father?"

As Ronno got up and decided to go and find Garo, Leah wasn't sure whether doing so was a good idea. "Are you sure you should actually go to him... and ask him such a question?" she asked, thinking that it would be best if Ronno changed his mind.

Long Ears knew that Bambi the skunk was right, and that asking his mate what was bothering her could only make her anger worse. But someone had to try and calm her down, and who would do it if not him? He snapped out of those thoughts when his friend asked about his father. [b]"He's alright. Last time I saw him was yesterday after the fire, he's probably around here somewhere.

Gurri smiled at Garo and said, "I know you will be a great one Garo. Well we should just stop asking these questions." She continued on until she saw Garo's mother and father. She said to Garo, "There's your dad."

Ronno looked at Leah and said, "Garo already hates me anyway." He then saw him come out from the forest and went up to him. "Garo uh...can we talk for a minute?" Gurri stood aside to let them talk alone.

Bambi the skunk nodded and said, "Oh that's good Long Ears."

Garo smiled at Gurri's words, which already did it's role in reassuring him. He really hoped that when the time came, he would be a good father. When his fathe approached, Garo slowly followed him with a confused look, wondering what was it this time. "What's the matter dad?" he asked once they were far enough for neither Gurri or his mother to hear.

Leah just stared as her mate and son took off to talk in private. She had no idea what Garo would say once his father had asked him that question, but she hoped the answer would be no. After a short, yet akward silence she looked up at Gurri and smiled. "How are you today darling?" she asked, hoping to get to know her son's mate a little better. She never really got to talk to Gurri before, and now seemed like a rather good opportunity to do so.

As the two spoke about Thumper, he actually came out from behind one of the trees, his expression clearly showing that he had been looking for his son. Before Long Ears even noticed he was there, Thumper went up to him and gave his son a hug. "Hey there son!" he said, letting him go and taking a look at him. He reminded Thumper of himself when he was his son's age. "Hello to you too Bambi." Looking at Flower's son, and speaking to him by the name Bambi reminded him of his two friends. He hadn't seen neither of them for a really long time now.

Geno arrived by the small pool, nearly tripped a slippery rock, and got his antlers stuck between some tree branches while getting back up. It took him a while to release himself, but he got there eventually. As much as he tried not to think about her, he just couldn't get Marena out of his head. And this place, for some reason, only made it harder to stop thinking about her.

Gurri was surprised that Garo's mother was talking to her. She tried to sound as nice as she could be in such a situation and said, "Oh I am fine ma'am. How are you on this wonderful day?" Se smiled but said, "Uh just between you and me I uh think it would be best if Garo forgot about me." She knew his mother would be surprised but pressed onward, "I mean I was going to leave him."

Ronno looked at his son and tried to give him compliments to build a rapore with him. "Well son you...uh make me proud. You uh...are strong and brave and uh...not to mention you have a very nice looking mate." Ronno again looked at Garo and said to him, "Son I can only ask your forgiveness for everything I have done. I know your mother told you it was because of my past but she lied for me. It is because I am just a horrible buck okay?"

Bambi the skunk laughed as Thumper hugged Long Ears. When Thumper asked him if he was okay he responded, "Oh I am just great sir. I am just...great yeah." Suddenly Long Ears' mate came out and she yelled, "What is all of this racket!" When she saw Thumper knowing that she had to respect her elders she quickly calmed down. "Oh I apologize it is just that I was trying to sleep sir." Not knowing that he was Long Ears' dad she said, "So you are a friend of Long Ears sir?" B ambi the skunk was about to speak up but stopped.

When Geno arrived another doe was there with him. She just ignored him and kept drinking her fill of water. Once she was done she realized how lost she really was. She sighed knowing that she would have to ask that dweeb for directions. She went up to him and said, "Hey uh you, yeah you, do you know where the meadow is around here? Can you point me in the right way?"

Leah smiled as Gurri told her she was feeling okay, "That's good to hear. I'm feeling more than okay, thank you for asking." It was the part where she planned to start the entire speech about how glad she was that Gurri and Garo seemed to be happy together, but she grew confused at what Gurri said. "What? Why would he want to do that?" she asked, and when Gurri said her last line, she didn't know whether she was more shocked or more confused. "I... don't understand?"

Garo was already used to these kind of conversations with Ronno, but was a little stunned when he realised that the bottom line was asking his forgiveness. He was really happy when his dad finally late go of his hatred and accepted the fact that he was with Gurri, and that's what made him think that Ronno deserved his forgiveness. "It's okay dad. I forgive you." he said, smiling slightly at his father.

Thumper was startled a little when his son's mate came out of the little den shouting. When she asked him whether he was Long Ears' friend, Thumper was quick to answer, "No. I'm his dad." he said, then was a little surprised that she hadn't noticed herself. He stood by Long Ears' side. "What, is it hard to tell?" he asked, wondering whether she would notice it now. Meanwhile Long Ears was growing slightly embarrassed at the situation, "Dad..." he said, sounding a little annoyed

Geno, not even noticing there was another daw right infront of him bent over to drink his fill of water. He only noticed she was there when she spoke, and when he looked at her he was almost sure that it was Marena talking to him. But the thought quickly dissapeared. They looked a little alike, but if you looked for a few moments you could easilly tell that it wasn't her. "The meadow?" he started, before pointing at the direction the doe was to take. How could he forget where the meadow was after all he had been through?

Gurri sighed wondering why adults had to make things so dufficult. "Well uh...I was going to leave Garo for another buck. I told Garo he deserves better than me but he won't listen and insists we will be happy together. He tells me to forget about it but I know I can't." She looked at his mother and said, "As I said I am not as good...as everyone thinks."

Ronno didn't want him to forgive him however. "No son you don't understand! I had a perfect fawnhood. My dad was not mean to me. I just bullied everyone because it was fun. I bullied you, Geno, Gurri, Bambi and Faline just because it was fun to me." He then looked at Garo and said, "And now do you hate me? That is your father."

Long Ears' mate looked at Thumper and realized she was his dad. She realized she had to be even more respectful than before. "Oh hello sir and as I said I apologize for me yelling at you like that." She then looked at Thumper and said, "Well Long Ears and I don't have any food ready for you but if you want to stay a while do so by all means sir."

The doe huffed. When she saw he was looking at her like that she got annoyed. She knew lowly dweebs like him would get entranced by her but it was rude to say the least. She thought she would be there all day by the confusion on his face. Didn't he know his way around the forest? Why was he acting that weird? "Thank you." She started heading toward the treeline before the meadow and never looked back not caring what that buck behind her was doing in the slightest. She finally saw the meadow and made sure the coast was clear. She ventured out.

Leah had no idea what to say. Gurri said she was going to leave Garo for someone else, but was going to, meaning that they were back together? "You said it was over right?" she asked, just to make sure, "Then if it's behind you both, why keep thinking about it?"

Garo wasn't believing what his dad was saying. "Really?" he asked, wondering why was his father lying about it, "Mom even showed me a scar in her leg that your father gave her when the two of you met because he found it funny." he then began to get frustrated, "Why are you teling me lies? I said I forgive you didn't I?"

Thumper pushed aside the lady rabbit's apologies with a friendly smile, "It's no problem, don't worry about it. Oh, no don't bother yourself with finding me food, I've already eaten this morning." he said, before looking around at his son and Bambi the skunk. "Would you look at that?" he asked, smiling at them both, "Only the deer's missing in this picture." he missed his friends, and would probably give anything to just spend some time with them like in the good old days. "Say, I guess it would be pointless to ask whether any of you had seen Bambi around here lately?"

Geno just attempted to smile at the doe as she thanked him, but the smile probably never showed up. He continued drinking untill his thirst was satisfied, and then just lay down and looked at his reflection. (I'll get the two together in one place later)

Gurri couldn't say anything but just kept looking at Leah for a minute. "What if something like that happens again?" Gurri did know however that Leah was very nice and she wanted to ask something she was curious about since Ronno seemed gruffer than she was and hoped it wouldn't come out badly. "So uh how did you and Ronno ever meet?"

Ronno sighed and said, "No not really. I was lying." He then showed his son Garo the numerous scars of his life he got from his father which numbered about thirty-three in all. He said, "See that Garo. Those were what you got from my old buck if you made a mistake or if you even just talked to him." He sighed and said, "Little matter now. Son uh...have you and Gurri thought about well starting a family?"

Bambi the skunk said, "Oh yes sir we saw Bambi and Faline with their son Geno last night." Bambi the skunk looked at Long Ears and said, "Right Long Ears?" He was making sure what he said was right. Long Ears' mate said, "Well sir you can stay here for a while if you like until your friend returns or until you wish to leave." Bambi the skunk wondered about something and tried to whisper to Long Ears. He looked at Long Ears and whispered, "Hmm I guess she tries to be nice when your dad is here huh? What happens when he leaves again hmm?"

The doe continued forward out into the meadow. Once she made sure the coast was clear she sighed and started eating. Her mind suddenly wondered back to that buck she met but she quickly got it out of her mind. Why was she thinking about that dweeb?
