Garo smiled slightly as Gurri brought up some good memories from when they were little, but frowned as she continued and said that he was right, and that he would be better off without her. "Stop saying that..." he pleaded, leaning over and giving her a nuzzle. "I didn't really mean that... It's over now." he then saw a slightly higher patch of grass which would probably make a good place to sleep, "We should go to sleep and forget about all of this, you seem tired." He knew how tired he was, but it wasn't had to tell that Gurri was just as tired as he was.

Neither Bambi or Geno said anything else. Bambi lay down by Faline's side, and Geno lay down a few feet away from them. Geno was glad that he could finally go to sleep and leave all the day's horrible events behind.

Long Ears grew more nervous as he saw his mate move slightly because of their voices, "I don't know." he whispered, as quietly as she could. "But please, let's worry about it tomorrow." he really didn't want to wake her up.

Gurri nodded and went with Garo to a place in the woods. She then said, "I love you Garo. Good night." She went ahead and fell alseep. She hoped that in the morning indeed the worst was passed.

Once Geno started laying down whispers started again. "Geno why did you let me kill your mate Geno. Geno SPEAK to me!" The voice kept coming from another piece of wood nearby. "Geno come closer. I told you that harness would save me. Come on Geno come save your mate!" The voice kept laughing and said to Geno, "Whenever you hear me you will be reminded of the horrible things YOU did. Because you failed your mate died. Because you failed to kill me, Karus your mate died. Come here Geno and see me."

Bambi the skunk sighed and nodded. He also had the same problem as well. He was there with Long Ears because his mate was acting angrily towards him. He empathized with Long Ears.

Garo smiled slightly and lay down beside Gurri, "Good night." he said softly, before placing his head down by hers and quickly falling asleep.

Geno tried to fall asleep, but the voices he kept hearing didn't let him. It sounded like Karus' voice was really coming from behind one of the trees, but Geno remembered that back in the meadow he had the same illusion so he tried to ignore it. At some point though it began driving him insane, and he couldn't stay still. "Stop..." he started, not even noticing hat he was mumbling that to himself while half asleep, Bambi however was already asleep after such a long day and did not notice

Gurri woke up the next morning feeling better. She looked at Garo noticing that he was asleep so she kept quiet. She then noticed Garo was awake and said to him, "How are you feeling?"

Ronno woke up the next morning as well after having a dream about him and Leah first meeting eachother. Once she woke up he smiled to her but said, "Garo is not back yet from where I saw him last." He then looked at Leah and decided to tell her the truth. "Leah I...killed another deer yesterday. But...uh I wanted you to know he deserved it. I mean he...tried to kill our son and made his life horrible so yes he deserved death." He stopped and braced himself for Leah's answer.

Garo took his time with waking up, after a long day like they've all been through yesterday he defininetly needed that sleep. When he saw that Gurri was awake, he smiled at her, already not remembering what happened last night, "I slept great." he admitted, looking around them and then back at her, "And how are you?" he asked, hoping she didn't have another nightmare about Man while they were both asleep.

Leah was awake a few minutes before Ronno woke up, and only noticed he was up as well when he spoke to her, saying that their son was okay. "Oh, that's good to know." she said, feeling like checking on him but remaining down on the floor. She had to get familliar with the fact that her son was grown up now, and that he didn't need her anymore. "Ronno you told me that twice yesterday." she said with a sigh, wondering to herself how Garo really was doing.

Geno woke up with a start, sweating and breathing heavily. He calmed down after a few moments, and looked around himself. His mother was there, but his dad was gone. Geno figured that he must have woke up early as usual and started his patrols already. He decided to stay there so that he could calm down after barely managing to sleep, and let his mother know where his father had gone in case she got worried when she woke up.

Gurri smiled and said, "Yeah I slept alright last night." She looked at Garo and said, "Should we join the others?" She got up without his answer and started walking towards the others. Thoughts started entering her head about yesterday and she sighed again. She then looked at Garo curious about something. "What did your father say to you yesterday?"

Ronno snorted at Leah's answer as she brushed it off but calmly replied, "I already told you that?" He then thought in his mind that perhaps killing did bear a weight of guilt upon him. He had never been a murderer until now. He then looked at Leah and said, "Leah I have something to tell you." He felt like he needed to be hated yet again. "I loved...Faline before you."

Faline woke up and noticed Bambi was gone. It was obviously his duty as a Great Prince that he check the perimeter for any signs of Man. However she noticed something was wrong with her son, Geno. She went over there to talk to him. "Geno are you okay?" She noticed the sweat he had and said, "Bad dream?" Even though Geno was grown up she still could see him as her fawn that needed to be taken care of.

Garo wanted to suggest they stayed there a little longer, but Gurri got up before he could say anything. He got up and followed her silently, while thinking to himself about yesterday events at the meadow. He wondered how was Geno dealing with his loss so far, but he kept and will continue to be quiet about it, he didn't want to push Geno into talking about it. "My dad?" he asked, trying to remember what exactly the two of them had talked about. "Ahh... I think he said that he wasn't spying on us. I don't think he really was." he said, barely remembering anything specific.

Leah sighed and lay her head back down saying, "I know that already. I've known it since Garo was little." she wondered why Ronno was bringing up all of those subjects, "We said we'd leave it all behind and stop talking about it, remember?"

Geno remained still for a few more moments, the only movements you could see were his heavy breathings. When his mother spoke, it took him a few moments to realise she was there. "Oh... Yeah... I barely slept last night." he said, wondering to himself how were his sister and friends doing

Gurri nodded and kept thinking in her mind what happened yesterday. She kept thinking of how stupid she was yesterday. She then wondered what was going to happen between Garo and her. She looked at Garo still lost at what to say. She then said, "So Garo what happens between you and I? I mean what happens with 'us?'" She remained silent for a moment while Garo thought about what to say.

Ronno again grunted. How could he forget everything? Everything in his life was either a failure or something he wished to forget about. He looked at Leah and said, "How can I forget about everything about my life? I had no caring father. I was a bully. I bullied even our own son along with Geno, Gurri, Bambi and Faline." He then looked at her and scowled, "At least you had a caring father." He then said, "Come on and hate me!"

Faline nodded and thought it was best that he be left alone. However she said a few words of comfort. "You know I am always here to help you if you need me son." She then got up and looked into the forest quietly.

Garo kept walking silently, untill Gurri spoke up, asking him what was going to happen between the two of them. "Oh... That?" he half stated, half asked, before falling silent. "I don't know... he said, sounding a little nervous. "You know I love you. I want you to be happy..." he himself wondered what it would be like to have a family of their own, but he had a hard time bringing the subject up.

Leah was getting a little tired of Ronno's drama, why did he always want her to hate him? "I wont hate you." she stated, making it obvious that what she had just said was a fact that would never change. It wasn't right for her to hate him for what he had done. All his bullying, and earlier treatment of their son were because of what happened to him during his life, and she knew that he had been through a rought childhood.

Geno smiled at his mother, before finally getting up to his feet. "I know mom, thanks." he said, before sighing and deciding to go and get himself some water, maybe that will get him to fully wake up.

Gurri nodded and also smiled and said, "And I want you to be happy as well Garo..." She smiled and licked him on the cheek. She then started thinking of Garo's upbringing and wondered that if they did have a family would he be...She then looked at him and said to him, "Was Ronno a good father yo you Garo?" She then waited patiently for his answer.

(Ronno going through mid-life crisis lol.)

Ronno looked at Leah and nodded saying to her, "I love you Leah." He then looked out toward the forest and said, "Garo will never love me. For that I am sure. He has not shown any good feeling towards me yet. He still seems to hate am and probably always will. I don't blame him. I have been nothing but misery in his life. He will probably always hate me."

Bambi the skunk woke up in the morning and noticed that it was a nice day. He noticed that Long Ears and his mate just woke up. Long Ears' mate sighed and said, "Why don't you two leave me alone for a little bit okay!"
