It became apparent that there was something there that wasn't right even though Zera was new with all the new friends she met and the home she had been welcomed in. Though she didn't take the chance at being in a warm environment in the cold and rainy weather, she was still on the high strung end of her peaked instincts. It was only peaked more when she heard the movement from Sius in the den and his words. So there was something-- she wasn't just being crazy. The lioness lifted herself off the ground to make her way over to the vocal male of the group. She realized that when she got to where he and his opponent was, there was something different about him. Sius was acting more...stronger, tougher, and confrontational. She didn't know why, but she couldn't take her eyes off him when he was like this. But soon Zera saw his form shrink back to the regular frame he usually held and she sighed out. It was interesting to watch while it lasted.

As she rounded the corner even more, a young male appeared into her line of vision. He didn't look all that evil, but of course looks could be deceiving at the worst times. She had learned that over the years and she wasn't going to let it affect the others. Zera's warm toned body made itself known beside Sius, her neck lowered and tail swishing back and forth to signal she could be on the attack at any moment the male didn't please her, but her facial expression was unreadable. When she flicked her left ear she was listening to Sius talk of his younger brother, whom he didn't even mention (but there was very limited time to talk for either of them) so she was slightly interested in hearing this title that was given to this Kasi lion.

She was quiet and waited for the new comer to answer. Since Sius was not the one to attack if he didn't get his way, Zera posed the threat in a subtle way by showing off her razor claws once the question of what this boy's name was.

Dakari just walked, and walked. He had been wandering for a rather long time now, after being forced out of his living spot again. It pretty much all started when he was exiled from his older pride, their so-called king thought Dakari had been spying for another pride. Leaving his pride was hard at first, but he quickly moved on, since he didn't leave anybody too important behind. That was almost a year ago, and Dakari was now nearing his 3rd year. He had encountered rogues and other prides during that year of being a rogue himself, and all those encounters didn't end up well. Despite the fact that his life kind of sucked, Dakari was probably the most optimistic lion you would ever meet, and whenever he was forced away or nearly killed, he just told himself that there will be other chancs for a normal life. Many of the rogues he encountered weren't very nice, but he was a good fighter and a fast runner, and most of the times he was able to get away without getting into a fight with anyone.

He continued walking along, whistling to himself some tune he remembered from his cubhood. Even when the world seemed to hate him, he was always smiling. He knew that some persons hated his kind of attitude, but he always had a good feeling about things. Soon enough, he saw a cave in the distance, and what came to his mind was the fact that maybe there were lions living there, and that this was another chance to be part of a pride again. Even if it wouldn't work out, Dakari still wouldn't care, since they were going to be other opportunities. For some reason he had a good feeling about it this time. Before he could even see the inside or even the mouth of the cave, Dakari's whistling died and he called out, "Hello? Anybody home?"

Slowly trotting through the terrain, Syira gathered her thoughts together. Thinking very slowly through her brain, she concluded that she needed a future mate. Time was ticking and she needed to settle down at some point. As much as the lioness wished to throw these thoughts away, they were inevitable. She sighed and looked at the facts. To begin with, there were no other lions hereabouts besides this small pride. Secondly, there were not very many males in the pride. Sius and Tero were her only two available options. Upon her notice, Zera had preoccupied Sius and Tero both. So that meant Syira’s chances were slim. Moreover, if she tried to flirt with either of them, she would make a fool of herself. She had also noticed the love tension rising in the air. Perhaps it would not be a good time to be searching for a mate. Syira sighed and shook her head; there was not a lion around who would want a tough lioness. They would probably have to be tough themselves to actually consider liking a lioness like her. Again, she shook her head, but this time to shake away all negative thoughts. It would be even more foolish to get all depressed upon these thoughts. My mate will find me, thought Syira, attempting to assure herself. My love will find me in time. The brown-pelted lioness trudged along, glancing backwards frequently to catch sight of either Mufalfa or Wafu. She almost jostled into Zera when they arrived at their destination: Sius’ home. The landscape was not very impressive, and the cave, in turn, was not very impressive, but Syira managed to stretch a grim smile onto her face.

The smile was very humorous because her mouth was slightly twitched upwards, and her eyebrows were slanted upwards as well, giving her the appearance of making the best of it. Syira was all in hopes that the other lions would not laugh at her because even she knew her smile was, indeed, pitiful. The tired lioness was about to rest her head on her paws wearily, when she flicked her ear. Apparently, a loner lion had entered the scene. Despite her tired body, she remained alert at this newcomer. By his tone of voice, she kept her guard and a deep growl emitted from within her throat. So many things had happened in one day, it was very overwhelming. But not enough to stop Syira. Standing with a strong poise, she glanced at the lion and with disdain clearly smitten in her voice, she growled, “To begin with, we don’t know your name.” she crouched to the ground ready to pounce, “Which immediately makes me suspicious. Just who are you and what do want?” The long day had made Syira irritated, and she had withheld her strong emotions long enough. Her patience was obviously growing thin quickly, although she kept it in just long enough for another lion to enter. Oh, great, thought the irate lioness. Because we need even more drama. This lion, however, seemed friendly and she was about to lay her paws down when she remembered the other lion. She could not appear weak to them until she knew their purposes.

Apon hearing Dakari Wafu took his attention away from the cave and looked at the other lion. He stood on the branch to move forwards a bit more to get a closer look at the lion. This however was a bad idea as the water from the rain cause his hind limbs to slip nearly throwing him out of the tree. Wafu yelped as he clung to the branch struggling for a while before pulling himself back up.
"Well there goes my cover" he muttered to himself and then looked down at Dakari. "You lost?" he called to the other lion lying down on the branch and putting his paw under his chin.

Dakari stood absolutely still for a few seconds as he eagerly waited for a reply from whoever was inside the cave, in case there was anybody inside. The rain was annoying, but Dakari had dealt with heavier storms during his travels, and was already used to the coldness the rain brought along. He began to again advance towards the cave when he heard Wafu's yelp. Took him a moment to realise that the noise came from above him, and when he looked up he could see another male lying down on a tree branch. "You could say I'm lost." Dakari started. Comparing to other situations he had been through, this was considered to be a very friendly start. "I've been looking for a pride for quite a while now, so I wouldn't call it lost.." He knew that one year of travelling was not a 'while' but it didn't really matter. He was still un-aware of the lions and lionesses inside the cave.

Where was she supposed to be? She had this lion to deal with, and now she was hearing there was talking on the other side. What was going to be going on these next couple of days if lions kept on showing up? Zera thought she'd go crazy by that time! Bad enough she had to be with all these new lions she barely even knew acting like a pride, but she was feeling obligated to making sure they were safe...feeling stunk. Though Zera was not a very scary looking lioness though she had a higher height compared to most females, she had no instinct to kill right on the spot if need be. But because Sius was in bad shape as he was and couldn't even stand up for himself she was making herself as scary as she could be. But like a male would find a lioness scary? Well, she was going to find out in a few short minutes.

Zera's body was attracted to Sius' like a magnet as she made sure to stick close to him and make sure no further harm came to his frame. Though she was sure it wasn't going to look good, nor would it come out as something that they would pass as 'one of those things we laugh about' when she intertwined her fur with his almost making it too obvious that they were on the opposite ends of the color spectrum. She awaited for something to happen whether it be bad or good, being totally obvious that she was making sure her new 'friend' would be alright. Though she couldn't help herself in making sure that Eeve and Taro were alright while turning her head to the back of her and Sius and looking over the back end to see where they were in the whole situation that presented itself.

"A pride? You mean you want to start your own pride" Wafu said chuckling as he watched the other lion. Wafu himself was only just over 2 years old and thus an adolescent but this new lion didn't seem any older than he was and he found it a bit humorous that a lion of that age wanted to start a pride.
"Sorry sunshine but come back in another year and talk about making a pride" he said to Dakari and them smirked wickedly. "There's a pride in that cave" he pointed at the cave. "But they got some real strong males in it, and chances are they'll rip you apart" he said doing a cut-throat motion. From the way these lions acted and the fact that they didn't choose to do away with him and Mufalfa told Wafu that these lions where actually quite kind but he decided to give Dakari false information just for the fun of it.

As the group of lions became aware of his presence, the teen decided it would be better to back slowly away. He was obviously intimidated, not so much by the injured lion alone; however the group of others would surely come to his defense should things turn in the wrong direction.

When the injured one spoke in a more open tone, the stranger listened to every word that was said; listening for a key word, a key that would open a better outcome of his situation. Then he heard it. the word that would help him gain the trust of this small group.

Brother...

The feeling of intimidation left the young one's body with a sigh of relief, he took a deep breath and thought of what his choice next words would be. "Okay; one step at a time, My name is Ushujaa. I come from the Pridelands, and your brother needs your help!"

He paused for a moment, and took a few, slow, calm steps forward. " You have to come with me!" he plead with them "I'll explain on the way there."

Ushujaa was unsure if the group would listen to him. He hoped they would, and he had to at least try to reason with them, he owed Kasi that much...

(( Actually Nukascar, my character is almost 3 years old =O ))

Dakari found himself nodding as the adolescent asked him about whether he intended on joining a pride, or starting one of his own. "Whatever comes first, actually." During that time of being a rogue he pretty much looked for a pride all the time, and the option to start one of his own never came up to him. Even if he had thought of it before, he never came across any lioness, so all he could do was find an already formed pride. When the lion said that there was a pride inside, Dakari mentally shoved away his threats and turned towards the cave. "I tried to come into a few prides already. Some of them simply said no and some did try to rip me apart." he said, glancing around at the adolescent, "As you can see I came out quite fine." he gestured at his body, showing the adolescent that he wasn't carrying even a single scar or gash. He then slowly approached the cave, hoping that Wafu was just joking with him, since he was quite tired to have an entire pride chasing him at the moment.

(Oh sorry, just that your description said he grow's a full mane so I thought he didn't have one yet  )

Wafu looked at him as he gestured and realized that he did not bare the signs of a very hard life. Obviously this lion was a rogue but from the looks of it he wasn't one that tried to get a pride via hostile takeover.
"Some tried and yet your still going at it, are you that optimistic or just like to punish yourself" he said not really asking a question as he examined his permanently extended claws.
"Anyway go in at your own risk, they already told me off. One male is injured so they're all a little edgy especially when it comes to other males, they'll think your trying to take control or something." he said looking at Dakari with a blank expression, he wasn't sure why he was saying all this but right now he felt like he couldn't care less.
"Oh and one more thing, if they ask I'm not here" he said backing away to lay on a more stable and thicker section of the branch.
