Okay, well, seeing as I believe that Kopa does exist and was presented at the end of ]b]TLK[/b], that has to mean that quite some time passed between that point and when Kiara was presented. ^^ Now not knowing the straight facts, I can't really state anything for certain, but there is quite an obvious reason for Simba's weight gain in my opinion. lol. He was living off grubs for who knows how long, so now he's King and has a whole horde of lionesses to fetch him his dinner, which must have been a lot more filling than grubs. ^^ So, yeah, he's just your typical male who enjoys his meat and doesn't really work out enough to shed the extra pounds. lol. I just hope Kiara doesn't take after her father in that aspect. hehe. She's perfect just the way she is.

Personally, I don't find Simba fat whatsoever lol. He was living off grubs with Timon and Pumbaa. We all know that grubs don't really do much to your body and he wasn't even eating fresh meat like, zebra, wildebeest and antelope. ^^ Overtime, when he was aging and eating meat, that's where the bulk started to come in. Also, before Kiara was even born, I believe Kopa was around during this process too. To me, at the end of TLK, Simba was skinny. When TLK2SP started, he's much more built looking. >.> There HAD to be a time skip somewhere if it was suppose to be the same presentation. lol.

yeah, I think they were probably going for more of a masculine, powerful look to show his "king-ness" than having one too many zebras I don't think they meant him to look "fat" as some result of his diet change, just built like a king LION hooah! haha
