That was quite possibly my favourite part of the film (though I wouldn't say for definite) it was pretty powerful, but the epic music as Simba is walking is what made the scene for me.

I love this scene, but when I read the title "Simba's roar" the first thing came to mind was cub simba's funny roar in the gorge just before the stampede lol

One of the most (if not the most) incredible scene in any Disney movie. Love it so much!! Awesome

That's exactly what I was thinking, lol.
This scene is, granted, very powerful. They could never have pulled this scene off without Hans Zimmer's fabulous score.
