I think Nala's father is just a random lion who wasn't really needed to be in the movie or something. xD

i think we can a bit like in SP they cut out Zira's suicide just because it was a bit weird and that line i think they should of kept in for nuka "I finnaly got your attention didn't I" that would of been a great line to show how corrupted Zira made her kids but no some mothers complianed

ALso in a fan series i made i gave Nala a father called Mpenzi (swahli for lover) and Sarafina cant remeber becasue to stop himself from being killed he had to drug Sarafina and leave though she loved Sarafina. then Mheetu and Nala where born

the main problem in incest mmmmm. but the why would he creators suggest incest for Nala. They do say either Scar or Mufasa is the father of Nala. im not sure if we can take either there testimony or the incest charge into account

That's what I've been saying the whole time. The statement said about Nala's father by the producers can't be taken seriously, they were joking. If you're bound to believe that they weren't, then maybe you think Roger Allers was indeed her father.

This wasn't a joking setting. If you read the passage it's clear that it's a serious interview, and that the producers were hesitant about admitting that they intended for either Scar or Mufasa to be the father. However, they couldn't squeak away without giving the answer, so that's what they did, even though it was difficult and awkward for them to admit that Simba's relationship with Nala was in fact incestuous. I don't think the "they were joking" theory holds much water at all.
