A petition for a Lion King 4 movie has been up for a while, and we don't have that many signatures yet. I doubt Disney would even consider making another Lion King movie until the number of signatures reaches like 1,000,000 Lol. The fact that we haven't even gotten 6000 signatures in like 4 years kind of shows that there just aren't enough people interested to warrant another Lion King movie.

Seems as if the petition hurt its own cause by its failure rather than helping it

That's probably true, I've heard more than one complaint from diehard fans of TLK1 about the shoddiness of its sequels.

alot of fans don,t want anouther movie and alot of people grew out of it, not only that alot of kids won't watch tlk because it's not "cool"
i know people who have never even seen tlk 1.5!
disney locking tlk in the vault doesn't help at all either!
