Revenge of the Forgotten

Re: Revenge of the Forgotten

Dash silently nodded from the back of the group as Kivuli finished his sentence. He himself had done some training, but probably not the same as lions put themselves through. Most of his training was speed conditioning, so he had no idea what Lobo had in mind.

Kovu saw the despair in Vitani's face and decided to leave her alone. "I'm going to go take a walk around the border near the outlands," He said, looking into the horizon. "Take care Vitani." Kovu leaped down from pride rock and began to walk off at a slow and steady pace.

Sairra also heard a faint roar and she recognised it as Kivuli, she smiled and looked towards the outlands. She picked herself up and wandered to get a better look "Hmm" She said as she sat down again "Nothin..."

Just then she saw Thamini "Hey, what's up?" She looked at him, slightly concerned.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lobo was pumped, he had been waiting for this day nearly his whole life and now it was nearly here.
"Right" He said "C'mon Ethan!" He said as he got to work with the young lion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Karu was so excited, she hadn't been on a proper hunt for ages! "Awesome!!" She said as she walked out ahead "I think I saw some zebra pass this was not too long ago!"

Thamini saw her and ran to her."Finally I found you,Sairra.We're going to do something different about the war.Kivuli will get here,and we have to wait for a 2 days.Then he will collect all the lions that are with us and they all will be waiting for me.I will say the pride that strangers are coming and I lead them to Kivuli's pride.Just then we will attack.So,like you can see,we mixed our plans."Thamini smiled."So,we need to train a bit,I think.But,be quiet.If anyone that is loyal to Simba would hear it,it would be really bad.Now I'll go to train a bit.Are you coming?"

Vitani heard the roar faintly and saw that Kovu was heading towards the Outlands. She bounded forward ready to cut him off but then decided against it. Instead she ran in a different direction in order to loop around and join the group in the Outlands from behind.

Nala followed Karu to lead her to a place where the zebra liked to gather. "Come with me and I'll help you take down a nice breakfast."

Kivuli saw that his friends were ready. So was he. He began walking towards the pridelands. 'See you in two days he yelled back' He then sprinted. Soon he reached the river full of crocodiles. Kivuli thought nothing of it. He just walked over the fallen tree onto the higher ground, on to the dirt. He walked forward and stopped right before the lush green grass. This is it Simba, im home. To MY pridelands!' He took a step forawrd. Teh grtass so so calm on his paws, he had never felt anything like it. A smile appeard on his face. He then started trotting forward, makign a good pace.

After about 10 minutes he had quite a speed going. He was almost half way to his destination. He began sprinting again. He ran over a small hill. What happend next he didnt expect. His grey body collided with another lion. Slightly smaller, light brown with a black mane and a scar on his left eye. Kivuli jumped back up and got ready for a fight

ooc: sorry 'bout the absence lately :innocent:

ic: Ethan kept close to Lobo and Dash. Apparently they were to be his trainers for the next two days. Answering Lobo's questions, he said, "Yeah, I'll fight. I don't know how I'll do, but I'll do my best. I've never had to fight for anything before. I'm not going to let Kivuli down though, after he was nice enough to give me a chance." he smiled. He was a little nervous about the whole thing. In the back of his mind he wasn't sure if he'd make it out alive, since he wasn't a very skilled fighter. But he wasn't about to back down. Not now that he'd just made new friends.

Kiara woke with a jump. She peeked out of the den; the sun was high in the sky. She couldn't place the feeling, but she felt that something wasn't right. "Kovu," she thought. For some reason she had the feeling he might be in danger. She didn't know what to do, so she paced back and forth on the promontory of Pride Rock, awaiting his return. She suddenly stopped. She shut her eyes tight and shook her head. "Seriously?" she began talking to herself. "Why do I even feel this way? Nothing has ever gone wrong before. I just need to quit worrying." She laid down, still keeping an eye on the horizon. She still couldn't shake the strange feeling.

Kovu pounced, knocking the lion out of the air. He rolled once and landed on his feet, coming face-to-face with the rouge. The lion, he now saw, was much bigger than him and had obviously been in his amount of brawls as shown by the scars across his face. Though slightly intimidated, Kovu kept a low stance and stared hard into the lion's red eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, snarling. "What are you doing setting paw in the pridelands? What is your business here?"

KIvuli snarled at the younger lion. He then relised that maybe this lion could help him out. Kivuli stopped the angry gestures but maintained a firm stance towards Kovu 'My name is Kivuli. I am here to see Simba, me and him go way back. Ive come a great distance just to see him. Who are you?' These were Kivulis words. Carefully chosen and spoken calmly so not to cause any bother

The much larger lion kept a very calm composure when he spoke; there was no tone of aggression in his voice. Kovu didn't know if he could fully trust the rouge, but it seemed hard to obstruct the lion's path due to his immense stature. "Well in that case, start walking," Kovu said, motioning for Kivuli to go past him as he followed close behind. Something didn't feel right about this lion and Kovu had no intention on turning his back to him.

As the lions walked, and got closer to Priderock, Kivuli turned his head facing Kovu. Kivuli knew that Kovu didnt fully trust him. This was a risk, and it needed to be solved. Kivuli backed up to walk side by side with Kovu 'Mind if i ask your name?' Kivuli said 'And why do i sense that you do not trust me? Have i odne something wrong?' Kivuli stayed completely calm, ihs act was workign and it needed to stay that way
