Bambi RP (Private)

Garo let out a sigh. He was clearly tired, but he didn't want to say anything in case Gurri wanted to stay there longer. Unfortunatly, a moment after that Gurri suggested that they got going, and again her lick on his cheek managed to cheer him up a little. He decided that just standing next to Geno and saying nothing wasn't helping him, and so he didn't protest and followed Gurri back toward the woods.

It was later that night when Leah woke up again, finding out the Garo and Gurri just left and that Bambi and Faline were still there. It was then when she decided that being there wasn't doing her any good, also she and Ronno were probably not needed there at all. She got up, "I think it would be better if we left now." she said, looking at Ronno who seemed a tired as she was.

Geno continued to lie still untill night came, and it was the first time he had moved in the last few hours when he heard the scream. It mimicked Marena's voice perfectly, causing another tear to drip, before he heard the voices. At first the voice sounded like the one that Man would put on a decoy, which caused him to look around and check whether there was anybody else who noticed that. But his parents, along with Garo's parents, seemed to have heard nothing. His grandfather's voice, which came afterwards, said the exact opposite comparing to the first voice, and then Geno realised that his head was just messing with him.

Bambi let out a small yawn, which he had been keeping for quite a long time. "You should probably find a place to sleep." he said quietly to Faline. "I'll stay here with Geno." It was pointless if both of them stayed there, since all Bambi wanted to make sure was that Geno didn't fall asleep in the middle of a meadow, which wasn't a good idea.

Long Ears decided not to think about where was his dad at the moment, since he knew how embarrasing it would be if his dad showed up all of a sudden. "I think they're fine. I don't think something bad happened." he said, before deciding to ask Bambi the skunk about his mate, "So, when do we get to meet her?" he asked, feeling that since Bambi met his mate, it would be rude if Long Ears didn't do the same.

Gurri went into the woods and started to lay down. Gurri saw Garo approach and said to him, "Uh..." She looked at Garo. "Come on Garo over here and lay beside me." She smiled and looked away from Garo for the moment. "Garo uh, what do you think on having fawns of our own uh right now?" She still looked away uncertain of what he would say.

Faline looked at Bambi and nodded saying, "Are you sure?" She saw that he seemed sure so she got up and said, "Don't you two take too long Bambi okay?" She went ahead and headed toward the forest starting to feel the signs of her older age as her legs hurt and heard voices beyond what she saw. She decided to follow them. She then saw two rabbits and a skunk beyond talking about two deer 'being fine.' She wondered if she knew them. She went up to them saying, "Hello? And who are you?"

Ronno nodded and said to Leah, "Come on." He went ahead into the forest trying to find a safe place to sleep. Once he was there he started to lay down but felt the need to ask Leah something. "Leah does Garo still hate me?" He looked away, not knowing what else to say that would not offend her. "I mean he has that look in his eyes that just despises the very sight of me!"

Bambi looked at Long Ears and laughed, "Oh well uh..." Fortunately he was interrupted by a middle-age doe in the forest. "Oh hello my name is Bambi. And this is Long Ears." He was lost of words and looked at Long Ears. "Help me out here by saying something."

The voices told Geno to come closer. "Get over here or I shall kill her again and again!" It was then the female voice said, "Please save me!" Suddenly two figures appeared at the other end of the meadow. One of them seemed to be an innocent but scared figure while the other seemed to be a red-eyed, evil figure and he seemed angry. "I said COME HERE!"

Garo was so tired, he even let Gurri lead the way through the woods and look for a place they could rest for the night. At some point, Gurri came to a stop and lay down, before asking him to lay down beside her. Yeah, lying down sounded good, that way he could finally get some sleep. He was barely keeping his eyes open. As he finally came to a rest by his mate's side, Garo hoped it wouldn't take him too long to fall asleep. It was then when Gurri start talking again, this time asking him about fawns, which caused him to grow nervous. "I... thought you wanted to wait untill things cooled down." he said, hoping that his tiredness was covering for his nervousness.

Leah followed Ronno in silence, and when he finally decided of a place for them to spend the night at, she let out a heavy sigh before lying down besides him. Despite the fact she was tired, Leah frowned when Ronno asked whether Garo still hated him. "Why would he?" she was un-aware of Ronno's earlier actions that day, but she still remembered that Ronno at first did not approve of Garo possibly being with Gurri. But after what happened, it seemed like Ronno finally accepted the fact that the two have become mates, and therefor she couldn't come up with a reason for Garo to still be mad with his father.

Long Ears was still waiting for Bambi's answer, when Bambi was cut off by a voice which sounded quite familliar. When he turned around, he noticed a doe, which also seemed really familliar, but he quickly understood that it wasn't Gurri. When Bambi introduced them both, Long Ears quickly nodded and said, "What Bambi said." he still couldn't tell why did that doe seem so familliar.

Geno tried to ignore the voices, which continued their talking anyways. However it was quite difficult to do so when the two figures appeared right in front of him. He tried not to pay attention, but it became harder and harder within every second. He suddenly snapped out of it when he saw his father in the corner of his eye, "Geno are you okay now?" his father must have noticed that Geno seemed oddly troubled, but when Geno looked at the other end of the meadows, the figures were gone. "Yes dad, I'm fine..." he said with a sigh, before getting up, "Can we just go?" he asked, trying to remain strong as he took one final glance at Marena, before looking back at his father who nodded and began leading him in the direction Faline went to.

Gurri got nervous by what Garo said, "Well it is just that...I mean uh...look this experience tells me how close we are to seeing death every day and I just can't live without you Garo and..." She knew she sounded silly. "Well I just thought that if we die we have no legacy." She stopped though and said, "You are right. I know I sound dumb here. Forgive me." She looked at Garo and said, "Well I am going to go to sleep okay?" She feel asleep and started dreaming. She started to see Garo but she noticed that there were two little ones beside him. It must be their children. She was happy that she was a mother. Then suddenly shots rang out and Garo and the fawns were shot and killed presumeably and then she heard a gunshot as well and felt immense pain. She woke up as if she was drowning gasping for breath.

Ronno looked at Leah and said, "Leah I will tell you why he hates me." He looked down and said, "Before...Before I accepted them I tried to kill Gurri in front of Garo. I cut her with my antlers and made Garo watch and called him a Bambi lover. And when Garo was I fawn and you were shot I hurt Faline and Bambi because I hated the Great Prince and made him watch me do it." He then paused again, "And today I begged Garo to kill another deer with me." He paused and said, "Leah I am a murderer. I later, when no one was looking, killed that Karus." He said, "Please don't hate me."

Faline looked at both of them for a few moments and then finally recognizing them smiled. "My son and daughter are grown up now as are you." She then said, "I am Faline, mate to the Great Prince. Do you remember me now?" She smiled and looked at both of them. She then looked at Long Ears. "Where is your father?"

Garo just smiled slightly at her, "No problem." he said, another yawn escaping his muzzle as he finally lay his head down. "Yeah, sleep sounds good..." he said, already drifting off. He was soon also asleep, but he didn't have a nightmare like Gurri was having. There wasn't anything to have a nightmare about; He was finally with Gurri, his father accepted it, and Karus was probably well far and out of their lives, why worry?

Leah sighed, She knew that she could never hate Ronno, no matter what he did. Garo however, was a different story. "I don't know..." she said with another sigh. "It doesn't look like he hates you, but now that you've told me that... I can't tell..."

It took Long Ears a few moments, but he soon recognised Faline, "Oh yeah, I remember you now." he said with a smile, before feeling slightly akward when she too asked about his father. "He's somewhere around here, I saw him a while ago. I think he's already asleep by now." He remembered seeing him at least once after the fire, but he couldn't tell where was his father now.

Bambi and Geno walked in silence. Bambi thought about saying something, but seeing the rather blank expression his son was carrying, he figured out that it wasn't a really good idea. Instead of saying something that could only make things worst, he just continued to lead his son and follow Faline's track. If she already found a place to sleep, then Geno should be able to stay with them if he wanted to.

Gurri was shaking and her heart was leaping from her chest. She looked at Garo and decided not to wake him. She tried to go back to sleep but started shouting. "No! No! No! Garo! My fawns!" She kept shouting while she was asleep clearly having a dreadful nightmare of her worst fears, that she would lose Garo and, if they did have fawns, that she would lose them. She kept shaking and shouting obviously still dreaming.

Ronno looked at Leah and said, "I just don't want Garo to keep on hating me. I know though that if he does I deserve it." He then stopped and said, "Well I am going to sleep. Are you?"

Faline smiled and looked at Bambi and Long Ears. "I am sorry that Geno and Gurri have not seen you in a while though they told me that you were their best friends, besides Garo and..." She stopped not being able to say Marena. She went ahead and talked more. "Well I hope your father is okay."

It was then Bambi saw two stags following Faline. "Oh that must be the Great Prince and uh...I guess that must be Geno." He looked happily at his old friend. He thought he looked just like his father. He blushed and said to Long Ears, "Gosh his parents must be so proud of him."

This time Garo was pulled out of his peaceful sleep, and found Gurri shaking and screaming in her sleep. "Gurri?" he said, before shaking her a little to wake her up. "Gurri, what is it?" he asked, unable to see what was the entire thing about. He hated seeing her that way, even if nothing was happening in reality.

"You'll have to talk to him, I don't know that to say about this..." Leah said with yet another sigh, before deciding to follow Ronno's advice and get some sleep. "Yes, we probably should..." she said as she lay her head down, "Good night..."

Long Ears smiled at the fact that Faline seemed so concerned for his father. "He's alright." he said, before noticing The Great Prince and his son coming. It was easy for him to recognise Geno, since he was smaller than his father, but he couldn't deny that they looked alot alike. "Yeah, I bet they are."

When Bambi noticed Thumper's son, he was suddenly reminded that he hadn't seen neither Thumper or Flower ever since that forest fire, way before Geno and Gurri were even born. He suddenly felt a little bad with himself over this, and intended on finding them and talking to them tomorrow.

Gurri was shaking and tears were coming from her eyes. "I had a nightmare...about...our family. But it was horrible. We were killed by Man." She looked at Garo and said, "What if that really happens. It could happen to both of us at anytime." She couldn't get that thought out of her head. "What if we will meet the same end as...Marena?"

Ronno tried to sleep peacefully but he too had a nightmare. It was his father again. His father was abusing his mother and forcing her to go with him. "Ha that is how you were born!" Soon he was born and his father was beating and demeaning him. He thought in the back of his mind how close he was to his father.

Faline laughed and then noticed the girl rabbit. "And who is this Long Ears? I don't think you have introduced her yet."

Bambi the skunk saw Geno and hurried toward him. "Hello buddy. Gosh it has been a long time hasn't it?" He blushed again.

When Gurri was done explaining her nightmare, Garo could not help but sigh. Today's rough experience sure did shake her up a bit, and she seemed really afraid. "Don't worry about it, okay?" he asked with a soft smile, as he brought his hoof and gently wiped the tears off of her cheeks. "I'm right here, okay?" he asked, nuzzling her and hoping that it could bring her some comfort.

Long Ears wanted to go say hello to Geno, but Faline spoke up again, this time asking about his new mate. "Uh... she's... ah..." he said nervously, bringing up his paw and messing around with his ear like his father would have probably done.

Geno was still feeling depressed, and those figures and voices from before didn't do him any good at all. When he noticed his friends, who he hadn't seen in a long time, he couldn't help but smile. "It's been a while." he said to Bambi, before looking at Long Ears who was talking to Faline. He couldn't help but be reminded of Marena when he spotted the girl rabbit by Long Ear's side. He sighed as he realised that moving on from his loss was going to take a long time.

Gurri started to say, "But what can any of us do against Man, I mean no offense but you cannot protect me against his bullets. No one can. Today showed me just how fragile our lives really ar..." But then Garo started nuzzling her and she felt comforted. She smiled and started passionately licking him. She said, "I loved you since I first laid eyes on you Garo."

Ronno meanwhile awoke with a fright from his dream and looked to see what Garo was doing. He quietly got away from Leah and heard some talking from the forest. When he came closer he saw that Garo and Gurri seemed to be loving eachother. He tried to smile for his son but instead tripped...right in front of them. "Uh whoops..." He started thinking that his son might have suspected he were spying on them. "Well son I was not spying on you...I just tripped. Yeah that." He started to just look at Garo unsure of what he would say.

Bambi the skunk looked at Geno sighing all sad and said, "Ah it's all right Geno. We missed you too."
