I remember watching The Lion King not too long ago and thinking how some parts would be awesome in 3D. I get to see that now!

It's not any kind of release, as far as I know it's not officially confirmed yet.
I think I might be the only one to not care though, if you have seen a 3D movie recently (as in with the sunglasses not the red / blue ones) then tell me, what's the big deal?
I saw a 3D film recently "Despicable me" which was a good little film but the 3D didn't add anything, except give the picture a little more depth. The adverts for 3D films / games make it seem holographic or something as if it comes out the screen, in reality it just doesn't look nearly as good as that. I am dissapoint
They are trying to get 3D main stream by reducing prices like mad (can get a 40" 3DTV with 3D Blu Ray player and glasses for £700, they used to be £1700) which to me isn't a lot of money considering my PS3 itself was £500 lol. Also by bringing 3D into other media too there are cameras that take 3D pictures, a couple of games I got recently have "3D GAME" on the box etc.. But I still don't see the fuss >_>.

Are they going to redo the graphics with CGI or will they still be traditional hand-drawn cartoons as it is?
