Yes, as far as I know they will be making a 3D Lion King. Though it's currently postponed.

then a terrible tv series and products
another ok/good movie

This. Except for the diamond edition. I really hope it's good. If it's not, Disney won't get my precious money and I don't care if it's The Lion King we're talking about.
