Bit of my art. =P

[Katura]

First one is Scar is an AU universe where he is king and basically takes on Mufasa's persona. The cub on his back is my OC Katura. Second picture is of a short comic idea I had about Scar challenging Mufasa's right to the throne as adolescents and then defeating him in the ensuing ceremonial battle, much to his father's chagrin. Got the idea from the part of the movie where Mufasa asks Scar if he's challenging him when Scar says that Mufasa shouldn't turn his back on him. I was like- O_o Hey wait, sub-plot AWESOMEness. The dialogue goes something like this:

Scar/Taka: ... *Huff huff* I've done it father... I've defeated your precious heir. The filth that you regretted to have produced from your loins has crushed the 'better' son.

Mufasa: *Grasping his torn and bleeding left eye.* No... Not like this...

Ahadi: ... It can't be...

Scar/Taka: *Stepping on top of outcropping of rock.* Now do as the ceremony commands, proclaim me the better son, proclaim ME heir to your pridelands!

I was actually wondering if anyone has any ideas on perhaps how to expand on this idea. I was thinking about posting a role play dedicated to it.
