Personality: Silver tongued, but exceptionally energetic with a dog like enthusiasm for play.

Description: He is a young lion, and a still a bit on the short side. His face is angular, almost aristocratic with a slightly hooked nose and a strong chin that sports a smooth, wispy beard. Thick, slightly bushy blond brows hover over striking turquoise eyes the color of the sea during a clear summer's day. Katura's build is long, lean, and quite slender, though his shoulders and back are thickly muscled. His posture is straight and dignified, with his tail carried unusually high. Pale golden apricot is the color of his rather unkempt pelt, matched with a smooth, bone straight mane of a stunning, almost white ash blonde and a tail tuft of identical color. His forepaws are ringed with off white markings about the toes and bottom of his paws, while his hind paws bear no markings whatsoever. Pale white claws are always extended from his forepaws.

Other: He is the son of Scar and Nala conceived while he reigned as king of the Pridelands. Driven mad by her jealousy over the younger lioness's ability to produce a worthy male heir to the king, Zira steals the cub away and attempts to kill him, but a passing pack of wild dogs sees the attempted murder in progress and intervenes, resulting in a part of Zira's ear being ripped off. Fahari, the alpha, takes note of the tumultuous and dangerous conditions of the Pridelands and decides that it is much too dangerous of a place to raise young ones, and so takes the cub in as one of their own. Because of this, as Katura grows older, he acts more like a dog than a lion, to the point that he even wags his tail when excited.
