Any truth to TLK4 rumors??

Well, he cancelled a bunch of sequels in 2006 and said The Little Mermaid 3 was going to be the last DTV sequel, you can search that information.
But it seems Pixar won't get the same situation, since they are making Cars 2 and Monsters Inc 2.

I'm going to be so disappointed in Monsters Inc. 2. That sounds like a horrible idea; I loved the little cliffhanger a the end of the first movie. ^-^

Me neither, I really just walked into Tesco and looked at the Blu Ray charts, it was there and I was like "Nooo I want! And I have no money to buy it right now!". I don't even think it was a S.E as such, just a Blu Ray release I think... Although let's be honest, that is one of Disney's truly iconic movies, night on bare mountain, the villain taking cues from the devil, the sorcerer hat etc.

I heard this rumor years ago. I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd movie (1 1/2 wasn't serious enough for my taste), but if there ever is a 4th movie, then I may just watch it!

I may have posted this before, but the reason most likely that Lion King will take a while is because Disney's releasing a Blu-Ray Special Edition Bambi DVD soon. So they're busy with that at the time.

I have it from an anonymous source that there is in fact a TLK4 in the future. It's planned to be released in 2015, most likely in the summer. The plot takes place two generations after Kovu and Kiara's offspring. Basically, the Pride loses sight of what their true meaning in life is, forcing Mufasa to make one last appearance, with his son Simba, to help guide the Pride back in the right direction.
