First of all, no, I'm not gone forever! I think...

I've spoken to a few members here about this already, but I figured I'd let the whole place know too if they so desire to know, so it's not January and some people begin to wonder where that guy with the green name and non-TLK avatar went to.

Over the next four-and-a-half months, I'm going to be on MLK sparingly, if at all. Reason being: some of you know that while I do enjoy TLK, it's only an extreeeeemely small part of my life. As in, I think the movies are cool, I joined a forum about them, for some reason I stuck around, whatever, etc. I lead a semi-busy life otherwise, and that life is increasing in busyness drastically starting now. Come January, I'm moving to New York to intern at a major music magazine/website called Billboard. For those of you outside the US, Billboard also handles the popular music charts for the entire country. So until the end of March, I'll be with them at their main offices on Broadway, writing stories, talking to musicians and the like. Like I said--that's what most of my life IS, along with school.

So as such, I won't be around here much. I still enjoy talking to many of you when I get the chance, and obviously still like the movies a lot, but TLK is nowhere near an obsession for me; it's something I can very easily walk away from. So that's what I'm gonna do for a few months. Depending on how much free time I have, I will be able to sign in on occasion, but obviously not very often. I told the moderating staff a while back about this and told them that if they wanted a replacement moderator, I would take a demotion with no problems. I am told this won't be necessary, but if things do change over the months, that's fine. Moderating can be fun but it ain't my life by a long shot, so staff--if you change your minds, go right ahead, I won't be crushed.

Like I said, I'll still show up on occasion. But until then--have a good few months, everyone! Don't explode the forum so I have something to come back to. And if you have any need to reach me, I'll still be on Facebook and Twitter and will probably get on MSN sometimes.
