These kind of comments always amuse me. Because unless one finds an empty shell itself an interesting thing (which I don't), Kopa gets interesting only if one personally chooses to imagine an interesting personality and story for him because without your own imagination, he has no story nor much of a personality as in he remains the empty shell. Hence, these kind of comments unintentionally come off in other words 'My own mind is interesting.'

Why are yoy screaming? That fact hasn't been unclear to me. That fact is exactly what I'm critisizing in each and every one of my posts in this topic. I wouldn't if he wasn't put as a rival to Kiara who stands at a completely different starter line.

Gees, you keep on missing my point. Look, I'm not saying it's bad if he's that to you or that you shouldn't think of him that way. I'm only saying that I'm amused by people making it sound like he is interesting character already as he is portrayed by his creators in the books - yet if someone asked "Really? How is he interesting?" chances are you start babbling about the totally not-official killed-by-Zira fanfiction story whoever made that up or about your own fanfiction theories about him. Hence, in fact it is only your own imagination that may make him interesting - not the character he really is. In short; I'm not critisizing you or anyone's visions of Kopa. I'm critisizing the way people generally speak of him. I see no reason to go all grrr mad at me or strike defensive like that. So chill, please.

I know nothing about Kopa. I'm not american, never seen those books, never even bothered to check them online. I don't think of him as a character, not even as semi-canon. I don't really care about fanfiction (though I like to read it when it is about official characters), theories and making up relatives for every single character (Never felt the need to learn about Nala's father. What's the point? He's useless to the story). I enjoy the first movie (I don't really like SP - don't shoot me! - and 1 1/2 was mindless fun, nothing more) for what it is. I like to read about its official characters and how it was made.
