Nala woke up and looked at Karu's pleading eyes. The young lioness looked like she wanted to hunt really bad. Nala grinned and got up, "okay fine, let's go hunt."

Dash reached the top of the hill to see that Ethan was still there. He turned his head back toward Kivuli who was coming up behind him. "There," He said, motioning toward the lion. "He supposedly lives in the outlands as an outcast from Simba's pride. He was interested in our conquest." He began to make his way down to the waiting lion.

"Yeah," Kovu muttered and stared at his paws. "But now he has taken us in as part of his own. I know its hard, but we must move on and not dwell on past memories." He wasn't sure how convinced his sister was. He felt how deeply hurt she was by Nuka's and Zira's deaths. He wished there was some way he could help.

Thamini really wanted to see Kivuli.He looked around to get to be sure that nobody is around him,then he ran to Outlands.When he reached it,he started to shout."Kivuli!Where are you?!"

Ethan was a little intimidated by the big lion with the firey red eyes, but he stayed seated. He didn't want to say anything until he was spoken to, so he let Kivuli, Lobo, and Dash come right up to him, waiting to see what they'd say.

Kivuli walked over to the young lion. He seemed very big compared to Ethan. Kivuli was bigger and stronger but the fact that Ethan was sitting made it seem more obvious. Kivuli looked at Ethan and smiled 'So your the outlander ive been told about' He spoek in a calm tone 'I also hear you are interested in joining us, mind if i ask why?'

Ethan took a deep breath when Kivuli asked him the question. "Well, when Simba returned and claimed the throne of pride rock, he banished everyone who followed Scar, as I'm sure you've heard. I was still a cub when he came back, and he never gave me or my family any trouble. Well, when I was old enough to leave my pride, Simba really didn't want me roaming the pridelands, even though I had nowhere else to go. He never told me directly to leave, but I could tell he was happy when I did. I've been in the outlands ever since. I was hoping, if you let me join you, I'd be able to live in the pridelands once again, you know, since you're taking over... and I'd also have a family." Ethan looked at Kivuli with pleading eyes. He'd never had to rely so fully on another lion before.

Thamini was walking around,still calling Kivuli,when he finally reached them with other lion.He walked up with them."Hey Kivuli,hey Lobo,hey Dash."

Kivuli listened to the young ones words he could hear the plea in Ethan's voice. He red eyes looked warmly into Ethan as Kivuli understood the pain 'Heard of the banishment?' Kivuli spoke 'I was one of the banished. I feel your pain.' Kivuli then smiled ' ypu are most welcome to join us. My name is Kivuli. Yours?'

Kivuli then heard a familiar voice. He turned to find Thamini 'Hello my friend what brings you out here i didnt expect to meet until later when i entered the pridelands'

"My name's Ethan," he spoke up. Ethan could see Kivuli was now talking to another lion, so he moved closer to Dash. He thought the cheetah was cool, even though he had pinned Ethan to the ground earlier. The other lion, Lobo, seemed a bit eccentric to Ethan, compared to his lazy, laid-back nature. "Your name is Dash, right?" he spoke to the cheetah. "I heard that lion say it as he came running up."

"So it is," Dash said, taking a good look at the lion who stood before him. The lion was young, much like himself and seemed very easy-going. "I'm sorry if we got off on the wrong paw earlier, I didn't want to take any chances," He said, looking the lion straight in the eyes.
