I don't even bother to answer because this isn't a fair question/comparasion even though this is only meant as a personal preference matter.

Because if you don't happen to like Kiara, of course you you will make Kopa superior to Kiara as a character for he is all about your own fanfiction visions and theories because the books don't really give him much of a personality and he never existed in the movie universe so practically he has no story - thus he and his story can be anything you want it to be. While Kiara and her story is what she is and there's nothing to do about it.

In short: Kiara stands no chance against a fan's own imagination which Kopa is throughly open for. And so Kiara's only hope in the votes is if the person answering happens to prefer a girl cub over a boy cub. Resulting in this isn't a fair "preference contest". (:
