Born and raised in Manhattan, Matthew knows New York like any other native and is at home anywhere from the ritzy streets of the Upper East Side of Manhattan to the grungy collection of buildings in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

Teng Ming moved to New York seven years ago where he put his skills as a chef to use. An enthusiastic personality and a passion for his food has allowed Teng to work his way up the ladder in the dim sum world. He currently works as the most experienced line chef at the recently opened Ping Pong Dim Sum located in Greenwich Village.

Kevin Sutherland

A journalism student at the New York University, Kevin enjoys the investigative aspect of his job. He hopes one day to become a well respected reporter or news anchor with CBS News, but for now he's settling with submitting news stories to the Washington Square News on a regular basis. His older brother works as a waiter at the Ping Pong Dim Sum where Teng Ming works, which means that Kevin frequently eats there.

A cynical and frustrated police officer, Shani has rid himself of the delusion that he's helping the city he works for, and replaced it with the conviction that the people neither want nor deserve his efforts.

A doctor at Bellevue Hospital Center, Diego is proud to be working at the oldest medical hospital in the country. With emergency medicine as his specialty, Diego frequently works long, hard hours as a third year resident at the level 1 trauma center.

Kayin Tendaji

Kayin has lived a sheltered and privileged life at university. He has recently begun working as a paramedic with the FDNY. His sheltered upbringing and gentle nature make him exceptionally slow to anger as well as quick to trust and befriend those around him. In a dangerous city Kayin can be considered naive, and must rely on his mentor, or others to alert him to those who may wish him ill.
