not all the outlanders are evil, merely misguided. Vitani is not innately evil, simply misdirected by her mother....

Well, I think one of the things that is confusing about Vitani, at first, is that she has a hair tuft which is supposed to be a trait only for male cubs. Then again, I don't think the animators of SP really were paying that much attention. However, I know Vitani was a girl because of her voice and well I can just tell. Anyway, I think Vitani is not inherently bad she is just brainwashed by Zira at a young age to believe in her mission just like Kovu. However, Vitani does realize how futile it is after hearing Kiara speak, so that tells me she might have had doubts at some point.

Vitani is not so stupid as to be completely brainwashed, she would of course had some doubts. Nuka was desperate for attention, if he hadn't been he would have never done so much or Zira, Vitani didn't do more than necessary
