[As narrated by Hiccup]
The soft, blue sky had faded into a light purple that hung behind the whispy clouds. Having nothing to do after my incounter with the dragon, I sat on a rock and pondered what had happened the last few minutes ago. Had I really met a dragon? Why hadn't he killed on sight as Gobber had said? Glancing back at the dragon sleeping, I chuckled; he was draped across a tree branch similar to a bat. After a while I became bored and began drawing the dragon I started calling 'Toothless'. First, I began with the head, then the face I drew; I felt a light nudge at my shoulder and my eyes peeked back. Seeing Toothless behind me, I didn't move and I continued drawing. When I was almost finished, Toothless strode off and tore a branch off a tree then began drawing circles in the dirt.
His face was joyful and a skip in his step, it almost made me laugh, but I dare not for fear of frightning the dragon. After a minute or so, he stopped drawing and nodded, satisfied at his work. I looked down at the markings in awe; I began walking away when I stepped on one of his markings and Toothless growled at me. I drew my foot away and looked at him again, his face was calm and carefree. I set my foot down again and he growled until I took it off. When he gazed at me again with those curious eyes, I smiled at him and understood. Taking as careful a job as I could, I stepped around the circled markings which was making me walk in circles around it.
Carefully stepping in and out among the markings, I stopped in my tracks as I felt a hot breath behind me. I turned and I saw Toothless's face; though it was not angry, it almost looked trusting. As I reached to touch his face, his eyes began looking untrustful; I attempted again and he growled at me. It was no use; no one can train a dragon. I closed my eyes and put my head down, reaching for the dragons face. My hand was in the air for a little bit before I felt something touch it and I half expected Toothless to pounce me. But he didn't. I glanced up at him and his nose was purposefully touching me hand; his pupils were enlargened (As I later figured was when he was trusting) and he was gazing at me with fondness. He then shook his head and his pupils were normal again, shaking off the ecstasy of the moment; Toothless ran off as if it had never happened, leaving me speechless and my mind wandered. Could I train a dragon?

Yes, that's my Hiccup narration for my favorite scene in the movie. As inspired by Australian Chao's and Arani's 'perspective' stories, I couldn't help but make a How to Train Your Dragon related story. I hoped you enjoyed! ^_^
