Hm... Maybe, but I think if she was in SP she would be more obvious...

Well, they couldn't very well give her any lines. Sarabi could be in SP, but she would have been given an obscure appearance to avoid the need for a set of lines for her.

I really think that they neglected Sarabi in the SP because of several reasons. First of all, her voice actress had died. Second, I feel they left a lot out of SP because it was a rushed sequel and they didn't find a defined role for Sarabi in the second film in order to give her lines.

They have in fact done away with most of the secondary TLK characters and made new ones. Sarafina is a debatable appearance. Sarabi is elusive if she is there at all. we see a lot of sacrifice in order to make a new movie....
