Oh come now guys, whats the fun of giving up? It's just getting interesting... Well, Simba is good, but definately not my favorite... (again, personal opinion)

It is my personal opinion, that Simba is just as bad as Scar. Now, this is a good thing, round characters and all that. but lets' look at what each of them did.
Scar
1. killed the king, attempted to kill the prince.
2. exiled the prince.
3. Dangerously mismanaged the Pridelands.
4. Blamed the hyenas for something they didn't do.

Simba
1. Killed the new king. Yes, this is murder. If at the beginning, you look at the top of pride rock, would you think that someone you fell off of that would die. Sure Scar didn't, but Simba reasonably thought he would.
2. Exiled the new prince, the new royal family, and all their friends. Which is basically sentencing them to death.
3. Dangerously mismanaged the Pridelands. Think Buchanan.
4. Blamed Kovu for something he didn't do, then exiled him a second time.

An over simplification, sure, but my opinion.

Interesting comparison,but I'd have to disagree...
1.Yeah,Simba killed the new king,but given the circumstances,anyone else would have done the same thing. But in all fairness,Simba told Scar to leave,he showed mercy upon him,even though he didn't have to. But Scar attacked him even after that,so Scar is the one to blame for that fight even happening.
2.Kovu wasn't the new prince at that point,as Simba was the rightful heir to the throne. So Simba's son would have been the new prince.
3.Simba saved the Pridelands from all the harm that they suffered from Scar's kingship.
4.He had every right to do so,because Kovu WAS initially going to kill him. What went on later on inside his head,Simba couldn't know,could he. Just put yourself in his position,wouldn't you do the same?

Because it hasn't been said in a while, Adult Simba is the best. Cub Simba is just too cocky for me.
