Revenge of the Forgotten

Re: Revenge of the Forgotten

Simba nuzzled his mate as she walked up to him, he then replied," My morning was fine." He looked up and stared into his mate's beautiful green eyes. He was bored, and didn't want to start his daily walk around the Pridelands yet. Nothing new ever happened during them, everything had pretty much started sorting itself out ever since Zira had died. Then after a few short moments he said, "How has your day been?"

Dash took a few seconds to gather what memories he had and then began to tell his story. "Well...From what I could remember, I was once part of a big family with many brothers and sisters. As I began to grow older, they began to realize how different I was than everyone else. I didn't have spots like anyone else, instead I was born to bear these stripes and blotches across my back. The more I grew, the more they began to hate me, calling me a freak and saying that I was born to a different father. I was soon left to fend for myself, but I was hardly old enough to hunt when they cast me out and I knew nothing of how to fight, leaving me vulnerable to anything." Dash spoke with no fluctuation of his voice, nor any sound of depression or despair. "So I spent the next couple years nearly starving to death, stealing what scraps I could anything I could. I eventually learned how fight through many unfortunate encounters and have learned to hunt through similar methods. So I've spent the last 5 years wandering by myself," He finished, looking back at Kivuli.

Usually Nala confided in Simba for anything, but she figured perhaps it was best he knew not of her conversation with Rafiki. "I've had a pretty good morning so far," she lied and tried to give him a convincing smile.

Vitani didn't really feel like heading back to the Pridelands yet. Although her former home was dry and nasty, she still felt a sort of fondness for it. It had been where she grew up, played and trained. She continued walking around revisiting the places of her past.

Simba could tell that something was bugging Nala, but obviously she didn't want him to know yet. Simba didn't worry about it too much, he knew that if it was really important, that she would tell him. He nuzzled her and said, " That's good. " After a few minutes of awkward silence he said, "Did you have any plans for today?"

'Seems we both have had our fair share of difficulties' Kivuli smiled. As they walked he spotted a small watering hole 'At last some water. LOBO COME OVER HERE' Kivuli called his flighty friend

Thamini finally went back to PrideLands.He did not wanted to be here anymore,but he had no choice.
He always loved to hunt apart being a male.It was his favorite activity since cubhood.Now he went to the place where antelope often appeared.He found some and started to chase them.Meanwhile he catched a baby antelope and started to eat it.Then thought:"Hah!I am not sure if Simba could hunt,like me...Yeah!He cannot do anything except doing whatever he wants,or how he calls it...Oh yeah,rulling...He calls it rulling?!He just do whatever he wants and do not cares about PrideLands!I would be a thousand times better king...I don't know how Nala could've mate him...He's so spoiled and arrogant..."

Kivuli took a smell of the breeze, indeed there was a scent in the air 'You right, Lobo you have sneaked to the Pridelands before you know the smells, is this one familiar in any way?'

"I can't tell from here, but I think I know it" He growled "I can't put my paw on it!"
He leant down and drank a few sips "I should be able to tell as we get closer, I just hope the wind doesn't change"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sairra walked on as the wind blew behind her "Nothing is going on here either!" She sighed "Nothing ever goes on anymore" She climbed to the top of a small termite mound and roared "Maybe that'll attract some attention" She grinned as she watched for signs of life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lobo looked up "Ya here that?"

'How could i miss it!' Kivuli took a few steps in the direction of the roar 'That was from a lioness! Lets go!' Kivuli began running off with Dash following 'Lobo come on'
