Why were the hyenas exiled?

Also, I'd imagine the hyenas might have also been kicked out because they took up too much food/living space. Scar's fantasy of a kingdom "in which lion and hyena come together, in a great and glorious future" is simply not practical, as was obvious when Simba returned to the Pridelands. There were too many predators and not enough prey. Mufasa or Ahadi probably realized this and banished the hyenas for this very reason. It's survival of the fittest, after all.

I think they got exhiled coz they were on scar's side. but hey in my opinion, other than trying to hurt Simba and Nala, they were fine.

Yes, that's the main reason why they were exiled after Scar's rule, but before that they'd already been banished for other reasons, which is precisely what we're discussing in this topic.

I know that the hyneas were the bad ones here but I do wonder where they dissappeared too since they weren't in TLK2 (since they wouldn't be needed in the movie). They were in TLK1, then disappear in TLK2, and then come back in TLK 1 1/2.

They dont "come back",1 1/2 is set in the time of the first film.

My best guess is that the hyenas simply took too much food or land or something.
