Revenge of the Forgotten

"Oooh, thanks buddy!" Said Lobo as he layed down, tucking into a leg "Hey, nice catch by the way" Lobo wasn't usually a suck up, but at meal time things can get nasty. "So, got anyone in mind? Mate wise I mean? There's some pretty nice lionesses in that pride"

Vitani's ears twitched as she was snapped out of her thoughts by Kiara's voice, "Oh hello Kiara, yes it is quite a lovely day."
She looked back out towards the landscape, her mouth twisting into a frown. She didn't quite know if she could talk to Kiara about her thoughts. She knew she had good intentions but she didn't want to let her guard down to anyone just yet. Her blue eyes traveled back to face the future queen, "I'm fine, I was just thinking and enjoying the sunrise..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Over inside Rafiki's giant baobab tree there was a pale colored lioness studying the markings scrawled on the bark. Nala had come here to seek some words of wisdom from the old mandrill but found that he had gone off to who knows where. She was troubled about something but she wasn't quite sure what. She stared pensively at the various drawings that the old ape had done on the bark of the tree. There she saw the little orange lion with a brown mane that represented her mate and she was drawn next to him with a circle surrounding them both. Then there was a line extending from them to the drawing of an orange lioness, Kiara their daughter. What puzzled her was a line that extended from herself to a figure that had be scratched out so that it was unrecognizable, what did it mean? She sighed and pressed her forehead to the wall of drawings, *I do hope he comes back soon...*
Kivuli thought for a minute 'You told me once of this lioness with a kind of bad*** attitude sort of like me, care to go into detail?'
Simba was having a wonderful dream about his cub-hood, before the stampede. He awoke and realized that everyone was gone, so he stood up and started to look for them all. As he walked out of the cave, he noticed Kiara and Vitani sitting at the edge of pride rock. He didn't want to disturb them, but he also wanted to know were everyone else was, and maybe they would know. He walked up and sat down beside them, then said, "Good morning, how are you two today?"
"Hello Daddy," Kiara chirped. "How did you sleep?" She suddenly made a face (like this one: :o ) and asked, "Has anyone seen Kovu? He wasn't in the den this morning when I woke up." She smiled sweetly and added, "I have to tell him good morning!"
Vitani looked at Simba, *oh Great Kings is the whole pride going to come out to pester me?* she kept her composure and answered, "Good morning Simba."
She noticed Kiara's face and couldn't help but snicker at how funny it make her look, "well I've been sitting here since before daybreak and I haven't seen Kovu come out, perhaps he left through the back?"
Simba turned and saw the hilarious look on his daughter's face and tried to hold in his laughter. Luckily for him, he was able to. Then he realized that he needed to find Nala, so he said, "Have either of you seen Nala this morning?"
Lobo smiled, remembering that strange, yet appealing lioness he'd met once or twise.
"Well" He started "She was called Sairra I think, she had long white hair and lovely eyes...but underneith all that you could tell she was like fire, wanting to get out" He looked at his paws "I don't know if she's still around though, she was a rebel."
"I think Mom went to find Rafiki. I'm going to look for Kovu now," Kiara said as she walked away from Vitani and Simba. She headed towards the outlands, thinking maybe Kovu would be just on the border. He had been there at other times she couldn't find him. "Kovu? Kovu, are you here?"
