That's all good and well but too many people spread what they want to believe instead of what they know, causing those new to the fandom adapting false belief and becoming ones of those whho spread false information because the think it's true. Why are you freaking out? Lol. And I think Kopa is very cute, I love his design. He looks a lot like Simba but I love that tuft of hair he has on his head. So what if the fans designed him to look like Simba? I find that cute.

I'm "freaking out" because I hate and think it's wrong that lies literally try to take the place of the truth. It doesn't matter that it's just a fictional fandom stuff instead of something real life seriousness. Truth is more or less important in all things life and anyway it's just genrally infuriating when people run around claiming lies to be the truth.

Ok, maybe I exaggurated a little but those are really very minor differences - he's still a hell of a lot look-alike to Simba & looks what Simba likely did in a few months from his exile. As in, because of the head tuft Kopa is clearly meant to be older than Simba was in the film.

Oh pleasse. I have never said they aren't. But there are different terms: canon, sub-canon, PERSONAL canon and fanfiction of which the two last mentioned are very similar to each other. There are all those terms because the differences between them MATTER in official means.

And my point is not about rights to believe. People have the right to know the facts as in what really is official/official canon before they choose what to believe in, and that right you people take away from them by spreading your personal fantasies all around without making clear that it's sub-canon/official only to you personally but not for the movies.

There are many fans out here who actually care about the facts and discussing the true canon world - and even more importantly, when new people come asking questions they naturally want THE FACTS and not your personal believes, not your fantasy world mambo chambo and fanfiction visions.
