Got that Imax Poster yesterday. Once I find a frame, I'll take a picture of it.

Here is part of my collection. When I moved north over a year ago most of my TLK plush that is around my room was boxed up and I have yet to mess with any of those boxes. So once I dig all of it out I'll post the pictures of that as well.

Image

These are the Lion King Hallmark ornaments I scored for next to nothing when I was in Kansas City on business when I worked for a local Hallmark retailer. I purchased these from the Hallmark store WITHIN Hallmark HQ on clearance, and with a 10% employee discount! There are a couple of years represented here but I'm not sure what year each piece is. The black TLKoB mug came from the Disney Store in NYC that was next to the New Amsterdam Theatre. The other mug I purchased at the Disney Store and it was the mug I actually used for my morning coffee at work. I retired it when my boss gave me a new mug.

Image

These two guys sit on the old CRT monitor I'm using for my FreeNAS box (who has a CRT anymore!? Apparently I still do!) Rafiki's origins are unknown but it was given to me by a friend who has an obsession with garage sales. When she finds anything TLK related I slide her a few bucks to get it for me. Scar is from the Disney Store around the time of the TLK DVD release. Doesn't he look stylish in his Dayton Dragons batting helmet? It's what they serve the Dippin' Dots ice cream like substance in at the ballpark. I have a few of these around and I'll rotate them every so often.

Image

This is a TLK themed glass jar, origins unknown (probably another garage sale piece). I purposed it as a change jar for the moment. It has a stock image of Mufasa and Simba playing on the front. Ha! Mom made it into that picture. I'll have to tell her she's famous on the Internet now!

That's it for now. Stay tuned!

If I had thought about it when I was at the Cincinnati Reds game a few weeks back I should have gotten ice cream so I could have gotten a Reds helmet. Then I could have taken a picture of him with the Reds helmet and captioned it with "Scar says...GO REDS!" and used it as my avatar.

TLK is so far the only fandom of which I've bothered to waste my money on more than one merchandise item. SBS refers to my username here, (SuperBabySimba.)

My current collection:

X A comic book of the film, TLK on VHS and DVD, TLK2 on VHS, TLK1½ on DVD, and the Playstation game + I forgot to fecth the english movie soundtrack and the copy of an earlier movie script to this pic.
X Bedspread x 2.
X Blanket cover + two pillow cases. There's also Timon and Pumba and Nala & Simba as cubs that didn't fit into the pic.
X Beach towel.
X Decoration plate.
X Simba & Nala picture in frames; this one I didn't buy but is a gift from my sister.
X 3 x Simba plush; the one on the left is the newest and looks most like Simba to me, the middle one "purrs" when moved, and the one on the right is the one I had mom buy me when the movie was new. It can be turned into an adult by pulling out his mane and adult ears.

I should also have a wrist watch.... But the seller turned out to be a fraud. *SIGH* Well, fortunately I didn't pay too much. I'll be ordering another one at some point.
