I don't think she's Scar's mate. She may have loved Scar, but considering what Rogue said, I doubt that they were together.

In all indications, Zira has mothered 2 of Scar's cubs, I do believe they mated somehow.

How could it be else but i'm wondering where Zira and Scar lived at the time because i think no one trusted them at the time.

They mated, Yes, but that doesn't make them mates. If it did, mos lions would have several mates. But, we are forgetting for the earlier posts, both Scar and Zira were manipulative. It was there way, or the highway.

The pride didn't need to be loyal to her and scar, only scared of them. Fear is a powerful ally.
