Kiara kept laughing. Unlike Vah she wasn't aware of all the animals that were staring at them, "Yes I am!" she said, closing the gap even more

This time, Vah didn't look behind him, but kept on going and was determined to get to the side, and out, before she caught up to him. "No...you...aren't!" he responded, saying each word after taking breaths, now getting pretty tired. He was only about 10 metres away from the edge now, it was within touching distant! "Nearly there..." he managed to say to himself, determination now powering his muscles.

Kiara continued to com closer, and was now only a few feet away, "Yes, I, am!" she said, giving one last push and grabbing Vah's tail and then pushing him towards her. "Where do you think you're going mister?" she asked and chukled

Vah stretched out and attempted to touch the side with his paw, but was short by about 30cm. He felt himself being tugged back Kiara just after he reached out, and immeadiately knew he wasn't going to be going anywhere unless he wanted his tail to be pulled off, which he didn't by the way. "Aww...no way..." he moaned, just like a cub would if they lost a game of tag. "That isn't fair you know." he looked at Kiara, still moaning like a cub, but smiling at the same time. "Let me go. Pleeease?" Vah pleaded with Kiara, giving her the innocent, 'puppy eyes' look.

Kiara grinned at the more cubbish side Vah was showing, and was nearly persuaded by his puppy eyes. But she didn't let him go, instead she splashed him back, and then let go. "Here." she said, trying to hold back her laughter

Vah just looked at Kiara with a 'Seriously?' look, and continued to look at her with the same expression for a few seconds before saying something. "I'll get you back for that, some day, just you watch." he said with a mock tone of annoyance, trying to hold back a smile, but couldn't, and started smiling at that point. He then turned and swam to the edge, grabbing on to it with his front legs before managing to pull himself up. "Come on, slowpoke." he said, jokingly, looking at Kiara.

"You won't, I owed you that one." She said with satisfied smirk, before also climbing out of the water. "Ha, look who's talking." She said and laughed, before shaking her body a few times to help dry herself more quickly

Vah sighed at what Kiara said to him, and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever..." he then did the same as Kiara was doing and shook himself dry, but he did it purposely close to her to make sure she got wet from it. After he did this he looked at Kiara with a sly smile. "Even if we were even, it's still fun to do stuff like that to you." he told her, laughing slightly.

"Stuff like what?" Kiara asked with an inviting grin, before laughing, "So, now I get to see the master in action?' she asked, changing the subject

Vah raised his eyebrows at Kiara upon hearing her first question and smirked. "You know, stuff like annoying you." he told her, before winking at her and chuckling. "Anyway, yeah, you do get to see me in action soon enough." he said casually, going along with the change of subject. "That is, if I can find anything, but I think there should be a herd of Wildebeest around here somewhere."
