Why should The lion king be a subject in school?

Why should The lion king be a subject in school?

Postby jelle » September 10th, 2010, 9:03 pm

So i was just thinking about how boring school was enz.
So i thought about a thing hey wouldn't it be awesome if there where a lesson in school that would be all about the Lion King you know.
So i thought it would be fun to create this topic to see your thoughts why TLK should be a topic at school. :)

I would have LOVED that when I was in school.

It does teaches important life-lessons, and it could be used when studying Hamlet, since it`s inspired by that story.. It could also teach lessons about biology and zoology, though it`s not exactly completly realistic, lol.
So yeah, I definatly think TLK has educational potential and could be used as a subject in school. :D

It shouldn't lol. You don't want the children think "Who cares about school, Hakuna Matata, let's go get crazy in a pub" lmao. Life-lessons can be taught without having TLK as the main subject..

Also, not everyone would enjoy it-- I think that people would hate TLK just because it would be a school subject. And not everyone likes the movie anyway.

The Lion King is an awesome well-loved movie but I don't think it should have its own subject in school.

maybe TLK wouldn't work as a subject in school, but I guess it would make a good educational example
