[Open] Kopa's Pride

Laini wasn't very worried about Chiwaa at the moment. The way she knew Kopa, he might even turn out to like this new-comer of theirs. Unless, of course, she will turn out to have anything to have done with Zira and what she did to Kopa. But the lioness was young, around Kopa or Ashiki's age, and Laini had a hard time believing that Chiwaa could have had anything to do with Kopa's exile from the pridelands. She looked around at Mheetu as he settled himself back beside her and smiled at the fact that Mheetu's fears about his nephew were pointless. She knew how much Mheetu cared about Kopa. He would make a great father when the time came, but she wished that her pregnancy would be just come to it's end, she was felt even more excited about having cubs all of a sudden.

Because non-private ones always become non-active and are eventually cancelled after the first few pages. You should get someone that you know is active and start one of your own

Chiwa heard Kitama's words but chose to ignore them for the time being. She would,eventually,have to tell them the truth. Whatever that was. She wasn't even sure she knew anymore. The truth wasn't something she wanted to think about, the memories that came with it were far too painful. But she would have to try.
"That's...good,then." She said to Bora, still watching Kopa with extreme caution. She then turned to Ashiki again. "That would be very nice of you,thank you.." she said with a smile.

OOC: Sorry guys! I've been away on vacation all weekend!

Ashiki smiled and pressed her crouched body against Chiwaa's getting ready to support the lioness's full weight. She eyed the river. The distance was small, and the wheat-colored lioness figured the short walk would help the newcomer's pain. OF course, it could do the exact opposite. However, Chiwaa was thirsty, and the river passing so close by must have been torture.

Kitama lay by herself, acknowledging Chiwa's lack of a response with a grunt. The lioness would eventually find it in herself to tell one of them her entire story, but the old lioness knew better than to push it.

Kitama glanced at the place where Kopa had left the little group, but wondered if she should try to get him alone and confront him about his fear of the Outlanders... after all, a king shouldn't let his past make his present decisions biased in any way.

Kitama decided that she'd bug him when he got back later and let him think by himself for a bit first. She flexed her toes impatiently.

Chiwa took a deep breath before pulling herself up on Ashiki's back. This movement was excruciatingly painful, and she thought to herself that if her pain threshold had been any lower, she would probably have passed out. Luckily this was not the case and although the pain did make her feel slightly dizzy, it didn't affect her in a serious way which was good; she didn't want to appear too weak.

Feeling the weight of the lioness on her back, Ashiki pushed against the warm earth and brought herself up to almost her full height. Chiwa was lighter than she had expected. It was probably the result of a life on her own. The wheat furred lioness took two experimental steps forward before proceeding to the river. Her steps were short and so it took longer than normal, but soon enough the cold water was within a tail's length. "Well here we are." Ashiki purred. She lowered her belly back towards the earth as gently as possible, trying not to hurt the lioness any further.
