Vah's eyes widened and his expression froze in shock and horror as Kiara began telling him the second part of her story. Her life had started out so well, everyone was doing absolutely fine, and then it all fell apart, just like that. The love of her life, dead. Her mother, dead. Her father, dying, and although he didn't want to think like that, Vah just couldn't shake off the thought that he was also dead. "Kiara, you didn't have to tell me. I...I never knew it was this bad for you. Words can't describe what you've been through..." He sighed, getting up and walking over to her. "I'm so sorry Kiara." he said to her softly, putting real sympathy in every single word. "You couldn't have done anything but run."
Vah lay down next to her, looking into her tear filled eyes. "Your parents, Kovu...everybody who has died fighting the outlanders, they all love you, respect you, they want you to survive. Running away was what they would've wanted you to do. They're all up there with the great kings of the past. Kovu is with them, watching over you. You'll never be without them." Vah leaned towards Kiara and whispered something into her ear. "They live in you..."
