Vahvuus continued to walk with Kiara, as he now knew her, listening to her at the same time. "Kiara, huh? That's a very nice name. Although I don't think now is really a good time to talk about things. We can talk when you've rested up and had something to eat." he said, looking at her while speaking. He thought that it was much more respectful to do so. That was just what he was like, he never really liked being disrespectful to anyone. He never really knew why.

Vah started to near the place that he had been living for the past few weeks. From the outside, it looked like a small wood, with no obvious place to enter. As they approached, though, a small entrance became visible, through this, was Vah's home. "Its just through here." he said soflty, gesturing to the small entrance that they would go through. As he entered, it became much different to the look it had on the outside. What was now visible was a a large clearing, which was easily enough for at least 7 lions to sleep with a very comfortable amount of space for each of them. It was very sheltered from the rain, as the sheer amount of large leaves covering the top of the clearing made it almost impossible for any rain to get through. "Well...this is it. My home." he said, looking around at his home. "There's an antelope over in the corner for you that I caught yesterday, and, I suppose that's it really. Sleep wherever you would like." he explained to Kiara. "Do whatever you want really."

Kiara nodded at Vah as they kept walking towards where ever he was taking them. According to what he was saying, Kiara knew that the lion was obviously curious about her past, and the reason to why she was there. She would have to tell him at some point, she knew, but not yet at least. She was exhausted and hungry, and still needed some time to get used to the place she was going to stay at for at least a few days.

Kiara noticed that Vah was leading her towards some sort of a small forest. She've never been into one, since there wasn't one back in pride rock, so it seemed rather interesting to her. Though she wondered how was it possible to live under an open sky, especially when it rained. She only noticed the entrance when Vah showed it to her, since she was busy on looking around. She followed him inside, and was quite amazed at the sight that was just revealed to her. Once he was done talking, she decided that it was best if she took some rest rather then eating first, since it seemed kind of rude of her even if he said that she could. She settled herself down in one side of the clearing, "Thanks for letting me stay and everything." she said after a moment, realising that she forgot to thank Vah for his kindness

Vahvuus turned around to listen to what Kiara was saying. By the look on her face, it seemed that she liked this place already, although, maybe that was a bit of an understatement. He wasn't really sure. All he really cared about was that Kiara was now safe, and on her way to getting back to full strength again. "Think nothing of it, I don't know anybody who would've just left you..." He didn't even want to begin thinking about what could have happened if she continued on by herself. 'It would've been a waste of a life'... he thought to himself, glancing back down at Kiara's underbelly. '...And possibly even more.' The thought of unnecessary loss of maybe 2 or 3, and maybe even 4 lives was now too much for Vah to take. He sighed and tried to clear his mind of those thoughts.

Vah lay down to try and get rid of the thoughts, however, just when he had cleared his mind of those thoughts, yet another one struck him. What would happen if Kiara gave birth while she was here? Or rather, what would happen when she gave birth here? This thought stuck him like a very heavy blow to the head.'I obviously can't just cast her out when she's about to have cubs...' it all lead to only one conclusion. 'i'm going to need to act like the cubs father...' Eventually, after thinking through it for a while, Vah decided it was all too much information to take in at once, and got up to go outside for a second, just to have some time on his own. "Hey, I-I'm just going to go outside for a...a, second." he walked outside and immeadiately collapsed to the floor. "This is all too much for me to take..." he whispered to himself.

Kiara didn't feel like she could fall asleep any time soon, and so decided to simply allow her tired body to rest, and maybe get to know Vah better during that time. He was obviously still curious about her, and after offering her a place to stay just like that he definetly deserved them. And the cubs she was probably pregnant with... She was going to need someone's help, at least untill they are born and she could again hunt by herself. But she felt like she was abusing Vah already, and didn't know what to do about that.

She was about to say something in an attempt to start a conversation with him, but that was when he said that he was going outside for a while. "Okay, see you again later." she said, smiling slightly at him as he left. She didn't know whether he knew that she was pregnant with at least one cub, and if he didn't she was going to have to tell him at some point. His reaction to this might not be as pleasent as it has been when he met her a minute ago

After a couple of minutes of pacing up and down outside the shelter, and of debating about a lot of things with himself, Vah finally managed to calm himself down, taking slow, deep breaths. When he thought he was calm enough, he slowly turned to the entrance and walked through it. He didn't know what he would say, but then again, he didn't have to tell Kiara yet. Again, he couldn't make up his mind. 'What is wrong with me? She deserves to know...'

Vah sighed as he entered, and started walking over to Kiara, lying down near her. "I get the impression that you wanted to talk?" he asked her, saying it almost like a statement. "Actually..." he said, quite nervous about what the answer he would get was. "...I would like to talk for a bit, too, if that's alright..." he glanced around himself, wondering whether he should tell her. Evenually, he sighed and decided he would. "And one more thing, I...I know that you're pregnant." he told her, feeling as if something very heavy was lifted from his shoulders. "And I don't mind at all, you can stay here for as long as you like, even if you do have cubs, I'll try my best to help you with them." Vah smiled reassuringly.

Kiara lay still while Vah was gone, and decided to take advantage of his absence and think over everything once more. She decided to inform him at least of her pregnancy, since he deserved to know that, especially after allowing her to stay for as long as she wished. She didn't want him to find that out after some amount of time, he might see this in a bad way. She was going to tell him once she got the chance to.

Vah came back eventually, and Kiara grew nervous by his presence for some reason she couldn't figure out. She grew even more nervous when he lay down next to her, and was some-how unable to say anything. Luckily Vah broke the silent at some point, and Kiara was surprised at how he managed to figure out her urge need to talk. She listened to him, deciding that she would speak up once she was sure that he was done. Kiara's eyes then widened slightly, he knew that she was pregnant. It was a relief that she wasn't gonna have to tell him herself, but she was still worried about how he would react to this. But again he surprised her by saying that he didn't mind. It was like he knew that she was worried about his reaction to this, and that she needed some help with that, as if he had known her for a long time now.

She forced herself to look at him, despite the rather akward embarassment she felt right then. His smile was very reassuring, and somehow even inviting. She forced herself to speak, "I didn't know how to tell you that..." she said, trying to make it clear that she intended on telling him eventually, "I wouldn't mind if you helped. I mean, if you really want to." she said, adding a smile. How was she ever going to thank him for all of this, she didn't know

Once Vah had finished saying what was on his mind, he waited to see what Kiara's response to it would be. He hoped that it wouldn't be a bad one, but then again, he would just have to accept it, and respect her opinion. 'Although...what is bad about what i'm offering, and what wouldn't she like about it?' Vah closed his eyes and mentally punched himself. 'Nothing! Damn, you have to stop being this paranoid about everything! Now start listening to Kiara.' his mind practically shouted, while also making a mental note to try and sort out his paranoia one day.

Vah turned his attention back to Kiara and listened to her reply, letting out a small sigh of relief as she told him that she wouldn't mind his help, and Vah was quick to tell her that he would like to help her as much as he possibly could. "Don't worry about anything, Kiara. I would be more than just grateful to help, I would be delighted to help you get through this." he told her, putting a lot of emphasis on the 'delighted' part of the sentence, which probably meant that he was more than delighted to help. "Also, another thing. I knew that you would've tried to tell me about your pregnancy. I can tell already, you aren't the sort of lioness who doesn't do that sort of thing, and I understand how hard it would be to tell me about it. Not knowing what my reaction would be, and everything else." he explained. "Just so you know I don't feel annoyed about you not telling me, ok? Please, don't blame yourself." Vah finished speaking, glad he had cleared all that up.

Kiara was again amazed when Vah finished speaking, but didn't show any sign of it. It was like he could read her, and see exactly how she was feeling and what was bothering her. It was kind of creepy, considering the fact that they've known each other for only a few minutes, but it was good to know that Vah was someone she was going to be able to talk to about those type of things, and maybe even get very attached to. But she was again reminded of the fact that they basically knew nothing about each other besides their names, and Vah was probably curious about her as much as she was about him. "So..." she said, breaking the silence, "I hope it's not too personal... But where are you from? I'm sure you're also interested in knowing my story."

Vah smiled at Kiara and shook his head, he didn't mind if she had some questions, especially if he also had the same sort of questions to aske her. "It's fine, ask whatever you like. And you're right, I would like to know your story, how you got here and everything." He told her, completely and utterly oblivious to what had happened to her. "But you asked me first, so i'll answer as well as I can."

Vah took a deep breath and prepped himself to answer the questions that would be fired at him from Kiara, not that he wouldn't like it, in fact, he was looking forward to sharing it with someone. He felt that Kiara was the only one he had ever met who he was comfortable sharing it with, he didn't know why, because he had met plenty of other lioness', and what was even stranger, was that he had only known Kiara for around five or ten minutes. "So, where did I come from? Well, I was born and raised in a small pride of about 9 or 10 lions and lioness'. It was a relatively good life - right up until I was around a year old. The pride I was in started arguing about things I was too young to understand, and eventually, the inevitable happened. The pride gradually broke up, and I was left to fend for myself after my parents were killed after disagreeing with the rest of the pride."

Vah sighed, stopping to gather his thoughts about what to say next after they all disappeared when he told Kiara about his parents. He finally managed to compose himself enough to continue with telling Kiara about himself. "Anyway...after that hapened, I ran off to no place in particular, I just wanted to get away from that place. After a while, I began to learn the true values of being a rogue. I learnt how to hunt by myself, to defend myself, basically, how to live on my own in this world. I've been living like this for two years, and now it seems that living out on my own is where I belong." Vah finished answering Kiara's question, now noticing that the answer was longer than originally expected. "Sorry, I got a bit carried away." he smiled embarresedly and looked away from her, going red under his fur.

Kiara grinned slightly at Vah's last statement. She felt like asking him for more details, like how did he survive while he was so young, and whether he had met any other lions or lioness', but that didn't really matter, she got the main idea of his history. "Don't feel bad about it, my story is a really long one." she said, her smile fading away as she let out a sigh. "The story basically started long before I was born... My parents were only cubs. My father is... was, probably, the king of the pride. While he was still a cub, his uncle named Scar, got my grand father killed in a stampede so that he could become king instead. He somehow convinced my dad into being responsible for grandpa's death, and my dad ran away, while Scar told the pride that dad also died in the stampede. He managed to survive untill he became an adult, I think somewhere around our current age when he ran into my mom, they were great cub-hood friends. They fell in love at some point, and she convinced him to come back and take his rightful place. The reason she did this was that Scar was a terrible king. The lands turned into a barren place after he let a large pack of hyenas in, I don't even know why he did this... My father came back, and after finding out Scar wasresponsible for his father's death, they battled... Somehow Scar was killed by his own hyenas."

She took a break, trying to recall exactly what happend after that. "Even though Scar was a terrible king, and that the pride was about to starve when my father came back, he still had a group of followers, about half of our pride. One of them was his mate, Zira, and they of course blamed my father for Scar's death, while he actually gave Scar a chance to leave the lands before his own hyenas got to him. But they didn't believe my dad, and the pride was split into half. Scar's folowers were exiled into a place called the outlands."

She let out a sigh. The next part included Kovu, who she still missed alot, and was probably going to be the msot painful part of the story to tell. "By the time I was born the lands already recovered, and we haven't heard anything from the outlanders at all untill one day I wondered into their lands as a cub. When I was there I met another cub my age. His name was Kovu, and he was Zira's son, and the one that she was planning to use to kill my father to avenge Scar. However we became friends. Sort of... My dad found us a moment before Zira did. And we haven't seen each other again untill... A few weeks ago. I was out on my first hunt when a fire broke out. I don't remember what really happend, but Kovu somehow got there and saved me. He turned out to have left the outlanders, and said that he was a rogue. It took some time for me and my mom to convince dad into letting him in, but he did eventually. We began spending alot of time together, and we fell in love at some point."

Again, Kiara stopped, wondering whether to tell Vah about Zira's ambush and Kovu's exile, and deciding that it wasn't important. By this point, Vah probably knew that the cubs she was carrying were Kovu's. "Yesterday me and Kovu were heading back towards were my pride used to sleep at, and we saw that my pride was in the middle of a battle with Zira's. We tried to talk some sense into them, and just when it seemed that they were going to stop all of this..." she said, sniffing before continuing, "Kovu's sister... She just.... she killed him..." she now began to cry as she spoke, "And everyone began fighting again... There was a river in the bottom of the gorge everyone was fighting near to... My mom..." she paused, memories of how Zira just threw her mom off the cliff and into the river without showing mercy, "She tried to protect me... Zira threw her off the cliff... I saw her drown... And then she threw me off as well... But I landed next to the river and somehow survived the fall... And I couldn't have done anything else, my pride was losing, my father was dying, my mother was dead, and Kovu..." there were tears streaming down her cheeks.
