Captive's Struggle [PRIVATE: AC & SinChei]

Tanga continued looking over the human, pacing around him and continuing to occasionally nudge him when he found something he was particularly curious about. He had spent of few moments inspecting Shane's clothes, trying to understand how the stange fur the human's used worked.

Eventually, Tanga decided that he had seen enough for one day, nd moved away from the human, standing a short distance away, waiting to see what Shane would do next.

It took Kulinda a few moments to register Daxis struggling in her paws, as she was lost in a daydream, but when she did, she snapped back to reality instantly.

"Daxis?" she called, softly nudging the cub with her nose to get his attention. "Daxis, what's wrong?" She realised that, despite Daxis' various problems, she liked the cub, and cared for him. If something was bothering him, she would do what she could to help comfort him, and stop whatever was troubling him.

Shane waited until he could be completely sure the lion finished observing him. And as he sat in front of him Shane slowly moved his hand to the lions head again to carress it more. His hand was gliding through the fur and the mane of the lion. Shane enjoyed this too how his hand disappeared in the thick mane of the adult lion. The human again were moving his eyes to Tangas and wanted eye contact.

Are you finished?

Shane said softly and smiled all over his face still stroking the lions head.

Daxis was still making weird and scarred noises between her paws and struggled more. He was still asleep, noticing the scent of a human around him. Struggling more and more Daxis finally awoke while wimpering loudly. But he stopped until he noticed that he still was in Kulindas forepaws. Daxis was embarressed that Kulinda had watched him and listened to his weak sounds. But Daxis was still smelling the scent of the human and started to growl deeply now while rising his body.

Kulinda looked at Daxis as the cub woke up, now growling instead of whimpering. "Daxis, what's is it? What's troubling you?" she asked, before noticing that Daxis was sniffing the air, and was most likely troubled by a scent he had caught.

Sniffing the air herself, Kulinda quickly caught onto the scent of a human...very, very close by. She started growling herself, before gently shifting Daxis out of her forepaws and getting to her feet, turning towards the direction the scent was coming from. "Wait here, Daxis...I'll go take a look," she said, hoping Daxis would listen, before trotting off.

When she found Tanga and Shane together, she froze. The human appeared to be running his hands through Tanga's mane. But Kulinda completely missed the fact that Tanga was enjoying the contact, and assumed the worst straight away. "Tanga!" she cried, before unleashing a booming, threatening roar at the human, charging him ferociously. "Get away from him!" she screamed, as she pounced, claws extended as she aimed at the human.

Tanga simply sat back and purred as Shane ran his hand through his mane once more. He leaned into the hand, twisting his neck so that Shane was patting some particularly itchy parts of his neck.

But Tanga pulled away rapidly when he heard Kulinda's call, and subsequent roar. Turning around, his jaw dropped in horror as he saw the pale-furred lioness charging them, seemingly intent on attacking the human he had just managed to befriend.

As Kulinda leapt at Shane, Tanga intervened. "NO!" he cried, leaping into the air himself, he tackled Kulinda, sending them both crashing into the grass next to Shane, struggling with each other. "Kulinda, stop!" Tanga cried. "Stop, he's not dangerous!"

Tyson was caught off-guard when the lioness charged into the scene, since he was so focused on watching Tanga. But even as Tyson raised the tranquiliser gun to put the lioness to sleep, the male Shane seemed to be befriending intervened, actually tackling the lioness, fighting her to stop her from attacking Shane.

He tried to find a way to put the lioness to sleep, but with the two lions wrestling, it was impossible to get a clear shot, and so he was forced to wait, and see what happened.

Shane was just smiling while caressing Tanga who seemed to like all that. His hand continued stroking the lions head more and more until a roar let his whole body freeze in seconds. That was the biggest fear of shane. That another lion would not feel good with him in the enclosure. Shane saw himself already hitting the floor and being ripped off by the female lion but tanga didn't let this happen and made the human relax a bit but could still not move in any way. He just hoped no other lion would arrive and being on the females side.

Tyson! Do not shoot if you put one of them to sleep now could i be dead or the faith in the male would be blown away.

He added rapidly before his friend would put one of the lions into sleep. And if he would shoot Tanga then Shane could prepare to die.

Daxis was listenning to Kulinda and waited growling loud and digging his claws deep into the ground below him. He was already thinking about what he would do to it when it really would be one of those weird creatures again. Daxis perked up his ears as he heard Kulindas roar. Instantly dashing towards the source of the noises daxis saw the human and growled deeply with bared teeth. It did not take long until daxis started running towards him trying to bite him anywhere.

I WILL KILL YOU!

He just screamed hoping kulinda would be on his side just for one time. Helping him to kill the weird creature.

Shane didn't know what to do anymore and pulled his feet back everytime the cub snapped at them. He didn't want to touch the cub near the lioness who growled at him last night as he had to pass them while he wanted to go out.

Tanga wrestled with Kulinda for a few moments, but his small size and lack of fighting experience worked against him. Finally, Kulinda managed to throw him down and pin him. "Tanga, what are you doing?!" she demanded, leaving Daxis to attack the human as she searched for answers.

Tanga, meanwhile, held onto Kulinda's forepaws in a desperate attempt to hold her back should she try to attack the human, as he tried to stop her. "Kulinda please! This human is not dangerous! Surely you saw what happened. I was able to touch him, and he touched me, and at no point did he even look like attacking or hurting me." He looked at Daxis, who was still trying to attack Shane's legs.

"No..." he breathed, before turning to Kulinda. "Kulinda, please," he pleaded. "This is the same human that saved my life last night...don't let the cub hurt him...please..."

Kulinda looked at Tanga, and saw the honesty and plea in his eyes. Looking down at the lion's silver chest, Kulinda saw the bandage there, that the human had put there last night. Heaving a massive sigh, she turned back to Daxis. Getting off Tanga, she moved forward, speaking quietly so Tanga would not hear. "Daxis...Daxis, stop. Tanga owes this human his life...we can't hurt him."

Daxis turned around and were still mad because of the last time the humans beat him or put him to sleep for , in his opinion, no reason. His claws were unsheathed and teeth were bared while a growl rolled out of his muzzle.

But i do not owe him my life! He owes me freedome!

I hurt that he didn't do what Kulinda told him once more and he felt very bad about it. He never had any kind of the feelings before when he ignored kulindas words and managed to bite the humans leg.

Shane was waiting what would happenn when he saw the lioness calmed down after comunicate with the male lion below herself. At first he was scarred that Tanga had not won their little fight but then she calmed down. He winced back as he heard the cub in front of him hissed and growled more but was not fast enough to dodge the little once attack. After he felt his leg hurting badly and let him fall back on his rump shane didn't know what to do he wanted the cubs fangs as soon as possible out of his leg but wasn't dare to touch his muzzle when the lioness was around. Sometimes his hands were going towards the cub but going back as he looked up at the lioness.

AHHH STOP!

He just screamed everytime because of the burning pain the cub caussed with his small but very sharp teeth.

Tanga was on the verge of panicing...the cub had sunk his fangs into the human's leg, and he could hear the human's pained yells, and hated every second he had to hear.

Coming up to Kulinda and Daxis, Tanga's first instinct was to simply grab the cub and pull him off...but he stopped himself, knowing Daxis would never forgive him for that. "Please!" he cried to the cub, still not knowing Daxis' name. "Please just stop! Don't do this, I owe him everything, just stop hurting him...please!"

Kulinda could hear the desperate plea in Tanga's voice, and almost felt his pain. Sighing, she came to a decision, and did something she really did not want to do. "Daxis, stop!" she commanded, her tone strong and harsh. "Stop this at once, or I'll have to make you!"

She hated having to threaten Daxis with disipline, but she was out of options. Tanga owed this human his life, and therefore Daxis could not be allowed to go on hurting him. On top of that, Daxis needed to learn that there were consequences for doing the wrong thing, and that he would need to learn to control himself.

Tyson just watched the scene in horror, unable to do anything. He was trying to put the cub to sleep, but with all the movement of Shane and the three lions, he could not get a clear shot.

But when Shane got bitten by the cub, Tyson almost felt the pain himself. "Shane!" he roared, now actually hopping out of the pickup and rushing towards the gates in blind panic.

Daxis was still biting the humans leg and could taste the blood and feel it running down his throught. Tangas voice was echoing in Daxis' head but he did not really care what the golden furred lion was saying he just wanted him to keep his pawws of him. Just as he heard Kulinda saying something very strict to him he attached his ears and did not stop biting the humans leg but stopped the painfull tugging. His eyes were watching kulinda in a kind of scarred manner. But he didn't let his leg go at all and shook his head while growling low again with the leg between his tiny fangs. He still had his ears attached to his head and caussed the human more pain. He liked the painfull cries of the weird creature. He noticed Kulinda was very angry but he wanted to continue until he really had to. But his eyes everytime were going back to kulinda.

Seeing Tanga was clearly distressed by the pain the human was obviously in, Kulinda knew she would have to reprimand Daxis for his actions just now. She just hoped she would not have to force the cub off the human's leg. "Daxis, this is your last chance!" she warned, showing the tips of her claws to show she was not kidding around with him, and that her anger was very real. "I don't want to do this, but if you do not let the human go right now, I will have to hurt you!"

She hated herself for every word she spoke...but she understood that it was for Daxis' own good. He needed to learn that he could not just do whatever he liked.

As Tyson reached the gates, he returned to sanity, and realised that he had left his tranquiliser behind. He called for the inner gate to be opened, even though he could see Tanga and Kulinda were both between Shane and escape. "Shane!" he called. "Shane are you okay?!"

Daxis got more and more unsure about hurting the human and ignoring Kulindas words. His mind wanted to stop at once but his ears wanted to hear more of the cries from the human. But he winced as Kulinda was showing him her sharp claws. Daxis flattened his ear once more and crouched more obedient in front of kulinda while taking his teeth slowly out of the humans leg. A few twines of his own spittle were still hanging down of his still opened muzzle. But he closed his maw as his gaze were wandering over to Kulinda but he didn't held the eye contact very long and looked ashamed on the ground. He layed his tail close to his body and were just waiting for anything to happen.

Shane instantly pulled his leg back as the small cub let it go. It was hurting badly but not bleeding as much as he had expected. He quickly grabbed His T shirt he pulled off ealier and wraped it around his wound. His eyes were going from one lion to the other. Even if it was scarry Shane was again amazed by the kind of conversation the lioness had with the cub and made him stop biting his leg. But as he heard Tyson he ried to get up and turned around.

Yes i think it is okay... luckily he is still a cub.

Shane turned his head back to the golden furred lion and waited until the lioness or the cub would go if not he would go at first to deal with his wounds.
