There was a period where Disney made some DAMN good sequels (Beauty and the Beast Christmas is one in particular and King of Thieves is another.)

Disney really seemed like they could do no wrong from 1989-1995. We were spoiled.

Exactly, even if one doesn't see a drastic difference between blu-ray and dvd, the extra bonus features are worth it, if you already have a blu-ray player.
