"I bet right now though you're feeling sorry for yourself, not thinking about Nuka who has never had mother's attention! When we're ignored, we stick together! And y'know what, the attitude you have when you come home is to much to bear Kovu!" She was in full swing now. "So if you're expecting an apology from, then you're going to be waiting for it a very long time!" She turned her back on him.

Kovu was taken back by this, his sister was right he had just been thinking about himself, when he does come home after spending the day with Zira he did brag about it to his siblings not careing how they felt. He had always assumed it to be his right to have mothers attention and treat his siblings however he saw fit at the time. "Vitani about yester day...

"No Kovu, I don't want your worthless apologies, I want you to quit acting like King cause if you carry on like this then I'll make sure you never will be!" She decided to go talk to Nuka, and caught his eye, nodding towards the door in the hope he catch the drift.

Nuka noticed Vitani signalling him to exit the cave. "I take it you want to talk."

Vitani rolled her eyes at how unsubtle her brother could be, but nevertheless nodded and plodded towards the exit; she would head to the river for a drink, she was pretty thirsty after training.

After Nuka reached the river he had a drink then went to talk to his sister. "So what did you want to talk about?".

Vitani thought to herself as she lapped at the water: "Just wanted to know how your day was, I guess... Kovu been a pain?" She had always loved her older brother as he'd cared for her, more so than Zira, and conversations like this were important - he didn't get to talk to many others...

"Kovu was being his usaul self. Complaining about how much you had injured him, preventing him from going training, trying to stop him from being king and stealing mother away from him." Nuka walked a few meters away and laid down with his back to Vitani and head low in his paws.

"Typical! I could've just finished him off right there, but I let him live... and for what!? Him to start walking all over us again? No, Nuka... you need to stick up for yourself with Kovu, he can't hurt you!" She was now grooming dried blood from her flanks.

"It's not him I'm worried about it's mother youm know how much she cares for the chosen one. Scar wasen't even his father. " Nuka headed back to the cave he wanted some time to himself for a while.
