She glared at her son's ignorance. "Like I said, a King is never afraid! Now on with our training..." Zira continued her son's vigorous training throughout the day, not caring wether he would cope.

The days training had worn out Kovu, and he needed some sleep to recuperate after his days training. He wanted to go back home but he was unsure of his mother would allow him to, eventully he plucked up the courage to ask. "Mother can we go home please."

She sighed, rolling her eyes: "Can't you show a little more enthusiasm? How will I ever make a king of you!?" She marched off, heading back to her home whilst signalling for Kovu to follow.

after a long walk home Kovu all Kovu wanted to do was sleep, and so he walked over to his usally sleeping place but was soon disyurbed by his sister.

"Hey Kovu!" Vitani pounced on top of her brother, with a vicious grin on her face. "How was training, almighty chosen one?"

Nuka wondered over to the two cubs. "Yes how was training chosen one."

Kovu deciding to ignore Nukas' sarcastic comment responded to Vitani. "It was easy for me seeing as I am the chosen one." Kovu bosted proudly.

Vitani laughed. "Oh ree-ally? Then how come your so puffed out?" She jumped hard on top of him, knowing he'd collapse. "If it were me, I'd train hard all day, and still have the energy to kick ass!" She strutted around Kovu as she spoke, he tail swishing.

Kovu struggled to get back on his feet even though Vitani had got of him. "Yeah but it's not you is it. I was chosen not you! Now leave me alone so i can get some rest." Kovu walked away from Vitani to find another place to get some rest.

Vitani growled, starting to grow angry. "You know just because you're the chosen one doesn't mean you're better than us! I'd make a better ruler than you, and you know it!" She awaited her brother's reply, blood boiling.

Kovu stood still staring at Vitani "Then why was I chosen instead of you then?"
