I don't have the screenshots, but when Kovu first gets his scar, it changes directions twice as the scenes play out, curving one direction, then another, and back again.

They must have switched animators back and forth.

The thorns seem to magicly dissappear in these

Yeah there is no way Banzai had to time to pluck all those out in a few seconds

They did this one a couple times throughout the movie. Sometimes the hole in Zira's ear is there and sometimes its not.
