The Mystics. *Private Arani and QOPR*

[Arani]

"Really?" Hatari asked, also moving an inch closer. "That's very interesting. And yes, I am the new queen. My father died a few months ago." She said, sounding a little sad. She pulled herself together with a deep breath. this lioness sounded familiar... She had had a vision about a week before. In the vision, a lioness was talking to her, and she had Ayria's voice. That could only mean one thing. This was the lioness the vision said she was supposed to meet. "You're the one from my vision!" She exclaimed, getting very exited.

"I hope so. I don't want to lose her like I almost lost Isabella to Hofu." He said. No one would ever forget the rouge that came to the kingdom about a month before. He came one day out of the blue in search of food and water. He asked to stay, and Tahi agreed. Then, as he stayed longer, he started to go mad with greed. He wanted the Pride Lands to himself. Hatari then had a vision that he would attack and kill Tahi. So, the very next day, Tahi exiled Hofu. But before he left, he attack Isabella when she was alone. He was about to kill her when Tahi, Hatari and Huru came to save her. Thy chased Hofu away, but it took Isabella 2 weeks to heal.

Tahi shook away the memory and turned back to Vitani. "All we can do is hope she's alright."

Ayira jumped,somewhat gobsmacked by Hatari's sudden mood change,but it was a shock from which she recovered quickly. She began to laugh but stopped quite abruptly as she realised what the queen had just said.
"Hang on.." she began,gasping. "You...you had a vision? A VISION?"

Hofu.
Vitani shuddered when she heard the name. The rogue had appeared perfectly lovely when he first turned up,but she would never forget the rage in his eyes as he was banished from the Pridelands. Nobody knew what had happened to him after that,whether he was still alive or not. What if he had returned somehow?

[Arani]

"Ya. Don't you know? I'm a mystic." She explained. "I can see the future and talk to the great spirits. They help me and my husband rule the kingdom. Everyone, even outside of this kingdom knows about it. News can spread quickly you know. I'm quite surprised you havent heard, actually." Her face suddenly turned from happy to confused. Ayria looked shocked. Her eye's were filled with wonder. "Why are you so surprised? It's nothing special." She added.

Huru had finished talking to his mother. He stood and looked around. He saw Tahi and Vitani talking and walked over to them. "Hey guys." He said with a smile.

"Hey Huru." Tahi replied, also smiling. But it quickly turned back to a worried face.

"Ah, don't worry so much." He said, nudging his step brother a little. "She'll be just fine. She's probably heading back here right now." He added with a laugh, "Besides, if I know Hatari, it was most likely a false alarm that she just HAD to check out." He rolled his eyes. Hatari would go off for some reason if she thought there was any danger at all and then find out that it was a false alarm. Everyone, including Hatari, thought that it was very funny. Though she always made up excuses when she was wrong.

"Ya, maybe." Tahi said. He then laughed a little. "Watch her make up another excuse when she gets back. It makes you wonder where she gets all of her idea's for excuses."

[AdAstrα]

"It's just...that's what I do!" Ayira exclaimed, "I also predict the future and...and communicate with the spirits!" She said,gasping. "I never knew there were others who could do that!"
She fell silent. The voices had reappeared inside her head,and they did something they had never done before: they sang. A breathtakingly beautiful melody,which made Ayira feel all warm and happy inside. She smiled. This lioness was so much more than a lioness,or a queen for that matter. She was a peer. A fellow Mystic.

Vitani glanced at Tahi and couldn't help but laugh; some of the excuses Hatari would come up with were indeed,rather amusing. But she couldn't scape the feeling that something may be wrong. She sighed,hoping the queen would be back soon.

[Arani]

Hatari just starred, mouth open, eyes wide. She never thought in a million years that she would meet another mystic. She then smiled ad laughed. "This is amazing! I mean I always knew there were other mystics but I never thought I'd actually get to meet one!" She stopped short. Her head was filled with a ringing sound. She remembered that whenever her head started ringing, it meant danger was nearby. It got louder and louder. It was coming closer. But, for some reason, she couln't move. Something was making her want to stay. She didn't move, didn't say a word. Something was coming towards them but what it was she did not know.

Tahi looked out towards the plain. Something was off... he could feel it. His head started to ring. He knew all to well that it was nothing good. Since his father was a mystic, he had some abitities, and one was being able to sence when danger was coming. And he kew it had something to do with Hatari.

"Something wrong?" Huru asked, snapping Tahi out of the trance. Tahi looked at them. Vitani and Huru were looking at him with questioning eyes.

"My heads ringing again." He said, looking back out over the Pride Lands. "And we all know what that means."

[AdAstrα]

Ayira started to laugh,but stopped. She heard it too; a ringing noise that grew louder and louder, indicating the presence of danger. As she sniffed the air, she picked up a strange scent that sent shivers down her spine. This was bad. Really bad.
"Oh no.." she whispered, letting out a little gasp of horror as she felt the danger approaching.

"What are we going to do?" Vitani asked,staring at Tahi in horror. Her heart began to pound violently inside of her chest. Something was clearly about to happen. The question was..what?

[Arani]

Hatari said nothing, looking around. She knew that Ayria smelled what she did. A strange sent that gave her the chills. "This is bad. This is really bad." She said, her heart rate rapidly increesing. There was no cover in the Outlands, and if something happened to them out here, the rest of the Pride may not be able to find them for a long time afterwards. "We're in a lot danger out here. Come on, I'll see you back to Pride Rock."

"This isn't good. Hatari's near the danger, I can feel it." He said, his mind went into overdrive, trying to figure out what to do. "Come on, lets go see if we can find her." He said as he started to run down Pride Rock. Huru followed him. He didn't know if Vitani was behind them or not, but he didn't care. His bond with Hatari was stronger then anyone would ever imagine, and he always knew when she was in trouble or about to be in it. He was going to make sure that she was right by his side for a very long time.

[AdAstrα]

Ayira nodded and began to follow Hatari. The sound was growing louder still, increasing in strength until her head appeared to be spinning around.
Feeling slightly nauseous, she groaned.
"Are we there soon?" She asked feebly, hoping she wouldn't pass out or vomit. Her heart lurched as and ear-splitting roar broke the external silence; a roar of pure anger and malice.

Vitani hesitated for a few moments but as she saw Huru and Tahi disappear down the hill, it occured to her that she simply could not stand there and wait for something to happen. She therefore followed, her body growing older each day but her heart still that of a young lioness, preparing herself to fight if necessary.

[Arani]

"I don't know, everythings spinning. I should be used to this by now." Then, out of no where, an amazingly loud roar echoed through the land. Hatari jumped. She knew who it was. That roar could only come from one lion, a lion she had gotten to know very well. Hofu was back. "Run, RUN!!!!" She roared, going behind Ayria and pushing her to go faster. She looked behind her. Not far away, something was racing towards them. It had an almost completely black pelt. She knew for sure that it was Hofu. She pushed Ayria again, making her go even faster. She was not going to let anyone get hurt this time.

Tahi jumped when he heard the thunderous roar. He went faster. Huru did as well. "That roar can only come from one lion! We've gotta hurry!" He shouted back. He looked behind him. Huru was right on his heels, Vitani close behind Huru. He looked forward again. He knew that they were getting close to Hatari. But then he senced something else. Someone was with Hatai, and they were both running from somone or something. Something filled with anger and hatred.

At the same time, in the den, Isabella jumped at Hofu's roar. It had woken her from a deep sleep. She looked around. Tahi, Huru, Vitani and Hatari were gone. She instantly knew what was happening. She got up and sprinted down Pride Rock. She was almost as fast as Hatari, and Hatari as the fastest lioness around. She soon caught up with Tahi, Huru and Vitani. Her worst fears had been realized. Hofu had returned.

"Hatari's in danger again, isn't she?!" Isabell called, making Tahi and Huru jump and look at her. They nodded, and Isabella sprinted faster, soon running right beside Huru, knowing that if they were to late, Hatari may no longer be with them.

Hofu began to run faster, his scarlet eyes fixed upon the two lionesses ahead of him. Having lost all self control, he could no longer repress the urge to kill; the urge to embed his sharp teeth in living flesh and feel streams of warm blood run down his chin. He had wandered around for a long time, waiting for the right moment to attack. Recognising one of the lionesses as the Queen of the Pridelands, he had decided to kill her only not only to display how powerful he was, but because it had occured to him that having her safely out of the way would not be a disadvantage to his plot.
Baring his teeth, he prepared himself for the mortal blow; the stroke that was going to kill Queen Hatari once and for all..
