King Richard and Prince John resemble Mufasa and Scar?

So, I've watched Disney's Robin Hood again, and noticed something odd about it.

Doesn't King John remind you of Scar, personality wise?

-He hates hearing his brother's name
-He tricked his brother to become king
-He's wicked and greedy
-He's a bit of a coward

He has his brother's colours, yet he has that skinny body-style and the beard too.

His brother, on the other hand, looks tough, and we can guess that he's a really good and fair king too. Here's a picture of him:

Nice comparison. lol. ^^ Indeed they do in some ways, although I think that's mainly just because the storyline aspects between the two movies do share a few things in common to begin with. That, and they both deal with lions of course. ^^
