Tanga managed another weak smile, before closing the remaining distance between them and wrapping his girlfriend up in a tight hug, never wanting to let go. "Thank you, Rini...for not letting me go," he said in her ear, truly grateful she had knocked some sense into him.

Marini purred slightly as Tanga embraced her, now seeming to have completly let go of his guilt about today's accident. "Any time." she answered, remembering how much it helped when he had brought her back to her senses after what happend with the leopard. If he hadn't, she probably would have gone mad with the guilt for what happend. She couldn't deny that the hwole thing would have been prevented if she had thought twice before entering the forest, but Tanga helped her let go of this guilt, and she was glat that he did so.

Once Tanga had drawn what comfort he could from Marini, he pulled back, managing a small, but genuine smile a her, feeling a little better. "So...what happened while I was off losing my mind? And what's going to happen now?"

Tanga sighed, but nodded. "I thought what happened would cause problems with the training." He then looked up at Marini. "But...I don't think I could go on with the training after today...not after knowing what I could do to my friends in the process. I want to learn how to fight...but not in a way that will put any of at risk like today. I couldn't live with myself if I did it again."

Tanga sighed, but had nothing more to offer regarding where their training would go from there. Instead he turned and looked back towards the hill. "I...I guess I should go see how Simba is," he said softly, even as he did not move, a little hesitant. How would Simba react? And also, Tanga knew that Nala would never leave Simba's side, so he wondered how she would react.
