I've watched most of those movies and I'm glad most them won.
For those of you who don't know, Slumdog Millionaire's about an Indian teenager raised from the slums who plays in the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?" and wins the million dollars. I watched it last week. It's really good.
The Dark Knight's about, well, Batman (duh) who defeats the new threat, the Joker, and Two-Face. It's the sequel to Batman Begins and it's also really really good.

I kinda want to see Slumdog Millionaire now that it's so good apparently. I've actually never heard of it until now. Is it out on DVD yet?

I knew about it but it didn't look too interesting to me.
I think that they over-rated both Slumdog millionaire and Curious case of Benjamin Button and they took too many awards away from other equally deserving movies.

Actually, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button only won three Oscars. I really thought it was gonna win most of them, including best motion picture. It's not the greatest movie ever, but it's the best one I saw this year.
I don't know if Slumdog Millionaire actually deserves all those awards, but everyone says it does... I guess I'll have to watch it
