Tanga followed Makali, and cringed as Makali tried to touch Daxis, the little cub snapping at him in response. Tanga had guessed that even if Kulinda had gotten to the cub somewhat, he would still be aggressive, and so hung back. "It's alright...we won't try to touch you any more if you don't want it, okay?" he said, giving Makali a look that said to just go along with his suggestion. "And if you don't like being called 'little one', then can you please give us your name?"
----------
Kulinda frowned at Daxis as he snapped at Makali's paw, but did not say anything. The cub was obviously still wary of the two males. She looked a little surprised when Tanga's words told her that the males still had not learned the cub's name, but she let it go...although she did hope that Daxis would warm up to the two of them soon...they did seem nice enough, after all.

Tyson smiled in the aftermath, although it faded for a moment when the cub snapped at the strange-coloured male. "The female seems to have won the little one's trust, by the looks of things," he commented, before turning to his friend. "But I can't believe what I've seen today. I mean, we knew there was something different about these ones when we took them in...but I never expected what I've seen today. I mean, that lioness actually used basic first aid techniques on the cub's claw...I've never seen any animal do that, ever!"
