The older generations of TLK

I find that very interesting as well, so many fan artist and fanfic writers say Uru is Mohatu's daughter.
Was that mentioned in any Disney material, or is that a common fan theory, like the existance of Tanabi as Simba's son?

No, Mohatu's relationship to Ahadi and Uru is never mentioned. As I mentioned before, a lot of fans nowadays deduce that since Ahadi's fur is described as being golden in TLK6NA (which it isn't; the color of his pelt is never mentioned), then Uru's fur must be dark and therefore Mohatu must be her father.

Another thing which some people use to back up the theory is that both Mohatu and Uru found a source of water during a drought (though Uru was also looking for food). Mohatu found the Great River in a jungle that looks a lot like Timon and Pumbaa's home and Uru found a lake on the western edge of the Pride Lands.

(And as far as I know, Tanabi has no basis in official material. His name is completely fan-made, and he has pretty much been replaced by Kopa.)

i have to agree with Uru being the daughter of mohatu, since Ahadi was obsessed with mufasa becoming king and training him i think he was told this,it just makes sence to me and i dont know about Tanibii reaLly think he was fan-made and replaced kopa

I Agree with those who think Uru is Mohatu's daughter, mostly because of the fact that if she wasn't royal, Kiara would be the first royal-born female in 5 generations. I know that this doesn't mean that Uru is definately royal, because theres a 50-50 chance in any birth, but going by chance, I think it is Uru who is Mohatu's daughter. I know of a family where there was no girls born for 65 years, but still, I think that the chances are that Uru is royal.
I think it would be fair to have another royal-blooded queen.
And I also think Uru looked alot like Mohatu, so I think this is another reason to agree with the theory.

I dunno, if Uru was Mohatu's daughter, then Ahadi was a lowly commoner.

Well, for all we know, Ahadi, Mohatu, or even Mufasa and Scar could conceivably have had one or more sisters. *shrug*

Why do people always seem to assume that if Uru is Mohatu's daughter, Ahadi is therefore a rogue or a commoner? Why couldn't he be the son of another king from a neighboring pride?

So Nala, Sarabi and Kovu are just "lowly commoners" to you then?

It's very interesting to learn about the generations before Muffy. I wonder about how their lives were like in the TLK universe. That's one of the things of TLK that interests me today.

Mohatu is in no way related to Ahadi, Uru or anyone else that exists in books wherein Mohatu doesn't. There is no official family tree available or to be made.

Because some of the book universe's books contradict each others' contents, it is screamingly obvious and evident that the book universe is not meant to be one entity but each book is a seperate story out of a different story universe than the others.

And as all of the book universe is also written by not Disney's workers but by outsider childrens' book authors, it results in the stories and characters to be only seperate (fan)fiction characters Disney holds copyrights for and in the book universe to be only a collection of profit (fan)fiction, not meant as sub-canon. They are not officially related to the canon characters (the first film's characters)
