heh, funny I should read this thread since just today I made an offer on a new 32" LED HD 1080p TV mere hours ago, I do have an HD TV and a PS3, but the latter sucks hard so I've ordered a new one, both Lion King movies would look kick ass on it! Will probably be YEARS before we see the sequel on blu ray though, I'd imagine :/

I'm getting a blu-ray player solely for The Lion King!

I've got all of the above, so all I need is the movie. :P

I don't have Blu-Ray. :/
Although those high-def shots do look sweet..

My guess is that it'll depend on sales.

If so, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on B-R. Perhaps both will be bundled in one package.

That would be awesome, a 2 pack on B-R would be much easier to use.

Still will be awhile since they'll release the non-sequels first (more popular and more money.)

It also still may not happen. Time will tell.
