Laini was still feasting off the zebra Kichaa and Ashiki had hunted down. She hadn't noticed, but she was eating alot more than she usually did, probably because of the cubs. All of a sudden she heard Kichaa plopping down to the ground, and turned her head to look at her. She seemed to be really hungry, as Ashiki was, but non of them ate anything yet. "Kichaa, feel free to eat too, don't wait because of me." she said, moving aside slightly so that Kichaa could also pick a part she liked, before turning to Ashiki, "You too Ashiki, it's yours not mine."

Mheetu was still hungry so he went to the zebras again. He went down until his underbelly touched the ground, he then growled and ran and pounced still growling. He grabbed the zebras back and bit it. The zebra was hurt and went down and Mheetu was proud of his capture and dragged it to his mate and he smiled. Mheetu nuzzled Laini and gave her still smiling.

Laini continued to look at Ashiki and Kichaa, giving them both a look urging them to start eating whether she was eating or not. Then Mheetu appeared, Laini only now noticed that he left while she was still sunbathing. Her mate was carrying a zebra on his back, and Laini felt rather embarrased at the fact that he had probably caught it for her, while Ashiki and Kichaa were already back from their hunt. "Ooh... you're so sweet." she said, smiling back at her mate and purring slightly as he nuzzle her. "Ashiki and Kichaa also brought back a zebra..." she added, pointing at the zebra Ashiki carried, which showed signs that someone had already eaten from it, "...but on the bright side no one will have to hunt in the evening."

"Aww, really? Thanks Laini!" Kichaa expressed with a cub-like grin! "And it's not our zebra, it's everyone's, besides you're not in the condition to catch your own." She trotted next to the zebra and ripped a chunk off, happily eating until Mheetu came with another zebra. While Laini spoke to her mate, she could sense a slight embarrassment her voice because of the whole extra zebra so she decided to step in. "It's probably good thing that you caught another zebra Mheetu, we have another lioness to share food with. Besides, Laini has been eating twice her weight in food lately," she added with a grin.

Laini nodded at what Kichaa said, taking the weight comment as a joke and looking back at her mate, "You're so sweet when you're looking after me." she said, smiling at him and licking his cheek, before turning back to the zebra and eating some more.

Chiwa opened up her eyes and realised she was no longer lying on the savannah,wounded and doomed. She was safe. The strangers had,indeed,kept their promise. Not that she had actually thought they would not,but one could never be sure. Her stomach began to growl loudly; she was not only hungry but extremely thirsty. The pain had decreased somewhat but her abdomen and her flank still hurt something terrible,she couldn't help but moan loudly as she made yet another unsuccessful attempt to move.

Finishing a her shoulder blade, Ashiki heard Laini's voice. She smiled. "Thanks, Laini. I just wanted to clean up a little bit before eating." she purred. However, she looked back at her back and sighed. Maybe she would just swim later or something to wash the rest off. She walked over to the zebra and proceeded to dine on the back leg, one of her favorite parts.

After a few minutes of dining, she heard a groan an instantly snapped her head up. It had been Chiwa. The poor lioness must have been hungry. And so Ashiki grabbed hold of the zebra's leg and started thrashing to get it off. After some struggling, the limb came off and the lioness walked over to the injured stranger. "Here." she purred and placed the meat in front of Chiwa.

Kitama sniffed the air delicately, catching the scent of freshly killed zebra not too far off. Walking quickly away from Kopa, she trotted to where her nose led her. Soon she saw the blood-covered herbivore and joined the mess of lions and lionesses that were tearing at it hungrily.

She noted the newest addition to their pride and raised an eyebrow, but she said nothing as she walked up to the tantalizing prey and ripped into it without asking anyone's permission. She was old, claimed seniority, and had done her fair share of hunting in her life. The fresh meat and muscle filled her mouth and she closed her eyes in ecstasy.

She raised her head up, mouth crammed full of the tender meat.

"Anyon' seen Sha'fina?" she asked around her full mouthful.

Bora had been sitting to the side, waiting for the rest to finish eating before he started. After all, he was the youngest of the whole pride, and though some of them weren't too much older than him, they all claimed superiority over him. "Sarafina... No, no I haven't... Sorry Kitama," The adolescent lion responded, watching her rip off the meat. Afterwards he turned to Chiwa, about to ask something, but soon decided against it, and sat there in silence.

Returning to the kill, Ashiki gave Bora a nudge. "Go on and eat." she laughed. "I'm full anyways." She walked back over to Chiwa, hoping the dark lioness would recover soon. She sat down in front of the lioness, curious as to her origins.
