"That was a great hunt everyone, you all deserve a rest. Nuru get some food now, and o and relieve the border guard" Jata said angrily, "The rest of you, grab a kill and we'll head home" As some of the pride did so, and Nuru walked off towards the mountains, Jata hung back

"Yeah...." ra said, also sighing

Gakuru walked back towards the largest buffalo which he took down by himself and placed it on his back. It would have been heavy for any other lion his age, but not for him. Fali also picked up a buffalo and waited for Jata to lead their way back

Dakari decided it was time for him to head back, "Well, I think I'll be going... She'll probably be back from the hunt soon enough..."

"You go, ill catch up" Jata shouted, waiting for her dad

"Yeah, lets go" ra said, sighing again

The hunting party then silently began carrying the kills back towards the pride's den as Odion walked over to Jata

"How did i do?" Jata asked her father

Odion smiled at his daughter, "You did good sweetheart." he said, impressed by the results

"Thanks!" she said happily, nuzzling her father

"I'm sure our mother would be more than proud of how you did." Odion said, returning his daughter's nuzzle and beginning to walk back

jata purred, and followed Odion back, Nuru disappearing into the distance

"So how's Gakuru settling in?" Odion asked, trying to start a talk
