As soon as she'd started, Ra stopped shaking. Her senses and mind were the first to return, but even they were slow. When her kind told her what had happened, she was sceptical, but when she began to breath heavily, and couldwnt move her body, it seemed as though that's what had happened. "Imani..." she tried to call out, but her mouth woulden't obey her, it just sounded like she was panting.

Great! She thought, I look dead, can't move and can't speak... And to add insult to injury, it feels like someone has their paws over my ears so I can't hear what's being said. Typical she said to herself, knwijgnitnwasmalpmshe could do.

Auni breathed a sigh of releif at the sight of Ra stopping trembling, but almost at once panicked again as she wasn't moving, just breathing, very heavily. "Ra?" He croaked, his voice returning. "Ra? Can you hear me?"

Tanga slowly let go of Ra as the trembling seemed to finally stop, but as Auni tried to get her to respond, he became more worried. Imani's sister was not doing anything except breathing heavily...the only sign she was alive. "Come on, Ra, please don't do this..." he whispered.

He tried to give Imani a reassuring look, but could not make the emotion appear on his muzzle...he knew he must look worried, and hated knowing the he had most likely just scared her even more. He turned back to Ra, nudging her gently, trying to get some sort of response from her. "Come on, Ra...wake up, please!"

Finally, in desperation, he turned to Kamau and Kioja. "Is there anything we can do?"

Kamau turned his head to look down at his co-leader, "Kioja. Would you mind?" He asked her, showing her the way to his younger sister with his large paw, making her sigh out and walk over.

"Of course. I have nothing better to do than help drama queens". The lioness cleared everyone away from the helpless Ra and examined her. Without any notice, Kioja slapped her paw on the female's neck.

"That's your way of helping?!" Imani let out loudly, but she was silenced when Kioja pointed her claw to Ra, who was now opening her eyes and looking back to normal. Kioja puffed out her breath and walked off to where she could relax, which was oddly enough placed beside Auni.

*Deep gasp* An intake of breath was the first try noise ra had made, her fit had stopped, and she was gasping for air. Thankfully Kioja realised and cleared the blockage, allowing her to breath. Yet ra didn't try to move when she could breath, she knew she was to weak. She pay heavily breathing, but reassuringly opened her eyes. Looking around, she saw her brother, and at that point she knew exactly what had happened, and what she had said.

She slowly raised her paw, and beckoned Kamau forwards, hoping her brother would oblige, and that Imani and Kioja would allow them a moment without interference. "Brother..." she said weakly, knowing it was all she could manage.

Tanga heaved a huge sigh of relief as Ra opened her eyes. "Oh, thank the Kings...you're okay!" he said, throwing a relieved smile in Imani's direction. But when his mate's sister called for Kamau, Tanga remembered the rather violent greeting she had given him before. Looking between the two of them a couple of times, Tanga realised he was neither needed or wanted at the moment, and so backed away, beckoning for Imani to come with him, so Ra and Kamau could talk with some semblance of privacy.

Auni watched with relief as Ra came to, which was saying something as he'd gotten slightly flustered when Kioja had come to sit beside him.

"That was... How could you tell what was wrong? It's a good job you did, she could have died." He stopped talking, remembering Kioja telling him he talked too much. He didn't want to anger her again.

She didn't look at him and only opened her mouth to speak, "her voice sounded too strained to be just overtired. It was obvious lack of air that was causing this, and since when I looked her body over it was her throat that was clogged, it was the only option". The lioness spoke as though she had done this a million times and there was no difficulty in telling when something like that was wrong with another lion. Her eyes opened up to reveal the green-blue hues and she looked up at Auni, "you shouldn't do what other people tell you to do. I can tell you're holding yourself back from speaking just because I told you you do too much of it". She certainly was a decisive lioness. Perhaps too much for her own good sometimes.

Imani looked back at her sister and sighed out as she sat down with Tanga. "I'm worried; if Ra is getting herself in this much damage with the cubs soon to arrive then I don't know how she's going to keep them all in line". Imani was indeed worried for the soon-to-be mother and how she would deal with the upcoming birth if she couldn't even sit still for a moment. Not to mention, Ra hadn't seemed to notice that Mulfalfa wasn't here. Maybe she had gotten so used to the fact that Mulfalfa was never around a lot even when he was here. Just the thought of the broken exiled male brought a snarl to her and gripping her paws into the earth at the thought of being able to strangle him for all he had done to the pride, as small as they were. She released her paws from the ground once she realized how she was thinking and sighed out, in attempts to calm herself down.

Kamau walked over to Ra, not very afraid of the potential harm she could do to him, and sat down, listened to anything she was going to say whether it be slander against him or something she needed to get off her mind.

"Brother..." Ra said weakly, "... where... where am I?" she asked as she would as a cub. "The last i remember i was sleeping at the den, what happened?" she asled confused, but she knew one thing. she inched her way closer to Kamau and nuzzleled him happily, as a sister would a brother. she began to pur, feeling safety in his paws

Tanga listened as Imani spoke, before putting his head over hers in a small embrace. "I'm sure Ra will be fine, Imani...it's been a bad day for all of us, and once things settle down, she, and the cubs, will be just fine. And once they're born, I'm sure, as long as she's happy with it, that we can all pitch in to help her."

Tanga then noticed Imani's sudden tension, and realised where her thoughts had gone. "And don't worry about him, Imani...he's injured, and he's gone...he's not a threat to us any more...I just hate that it's come to this. There's a good lion hidden in there somewhere...and I do hope it wins out in his life one day. But what he's done is unforgivable...I just hope Ra can understand that when she finds out..."
