Nala smiled. "Have a thing for watching the sunrise, do you?" she said jokingly, before looking over at Tanga and Marini's alcove. "Rini's sure having a big sleep-in today, huh?"

Kali smiled at her daughter, before turning to Sarabi. "What brings you here, Sarabi?"

Sarabi turned her attention to Kali, but not before she gave the cub one last smile. "The young ones seem to believe that Tanga is healed enough to begin their training." Sarabi waved a paw, stopping Kali before she could get up. "Don't bother just yet, Tanga went on a morning run...you have a few more minutes, at the very least."

Simba's mind wondered off to the day when Mufasa first took him to the top of Pride Rock, it was early in the morning and sun was just beginning to rise. The view from there was amazing, especially if you were there for the first time. Ever since then he used to wake up early every morning to watch the sun rise, he wished he could be at the top of Pride Rock again and experience the view again. But then the thought of the Pridelands dying came back to him once more. He pushed those thoughts aside when Nala spoke, noticing she was looking towards Tanga and Marini's nook. "Like always." he said, grinnig at how much Marini enjoyed sleeping.

Uhuru's heart lifted slightly at what Sarabi said, she was already excited to start their training, and now that Sarabi said what she had said, also hoped that they could start today

Nala smiled, before changing the subject once more. "So...what do you think Kali will end up teaching us? She sounds like she knows what she's talking about when she tells us about how she's going to have us ready in a few months...do you have any ideas?"

Kali ignored Sarabi's comment, getting to her feet. "I'm okay, Sarabi...stretching my legs before checking on Tanga might do me some good." She then turned to Uhuru. "You coming, sweetie...or you going to rest this morning?"

Simba thought for a moment, Kali did sounf like she knows what she's talking about, "I don't know..." he said, before speaking up ocne more, "But I can't wait to get started."

Uhuru decided to go with her mother. If they ere to start the training now then she wanted to be there, and if not then she could still say hello to her brother and his friends. "I'll come with you mom." she said, smiling up at her mother before getting up from Busara's mane.

Kali smiled, waiting for Uhuru to hop down from Busara's mane before leaving the den, Sarabi following them out as they headed down the hillside. "Alright, Uhuru...I'm going to tell you this one more time...what I'm about to put you and the others through is going to be very hard...I may even hurt you a little during the training. I know you've been doing those runs, and I'm proud of you, you've already improved so much...but this is going to make the runs seem like nothing. This is your last chance, sweetie...if you don't want to do it, tell me now."

Uhuru looked up at her mother, feeling like she had already said it a milion times, "Mom, I want to do this." she said, knowing that her mother was just caring about her, but also wanting her to stop asking that

Kali nodded, before giving her daughter a brief nuzzle as she heard the annoyance in the cub's voice. "I'm sorry I keep asking, but you're still my daughter, and I'm worried. But you've proved you really do want to do it, so I'll stop asking, I promise." She gave her daughter a quick hug, before sitting back to wait for Tanga.

After a short silence, which seemed like ages for Simba, probably because he enjoyed being with Nala so much he decided to speak, "You're right," he said, still purring in between words, "I should learn to sleep in so we can do this more often."

Marini finally woke up, this time not finding Tanga by her side like every morning. It was wierd, but she wasn't worried at all, Tanga was probably out with Simba and Nala because she broke her over-sleeping record again. She yawned an got up, before stretching and walking out of her and Tanga's nook towards the tunnels exit. Passing by Simba and ala's nook, she peeked inside, seeing the two of them laying their quietly she smiled to herself, though it made her wonder what Tanga could possibly be doing if these two were inside. She decided to see for herself and headed outside

Nala grinned. "Knew you'd see sense in the end," she said, snuggling evenc loser to his belly as she continued purring, before noticing Marini get up and walk off. "Ah, look, she's finally up," she said softly, before craning her neck to look up at Simba from her position in his neck. "You think we should go and see if our training starts soon?"

Sarabi looked up as Marini came up out of the ravine. "Morning, Marini...I take it you slept well?" she asked, smiling at just how much Marini had slept in, before looking out, noting that Tanga still was not back yet.

Simba purred even louder when Nala snuggled even closer to him, smiling at her as she looked at him and asked whether they should go and see what was up outside. "They'll probably call us if so." he said, not bothering to move, "I don't mind staying here." he added, before giving Nala a quick, yet affectionate lick

As Marini walked out of the ravine, she noticed Sarabi, along with Uhuru with her mother. "Morning to you too." she said, aiming the 'Good morning' at the three of them
